Great hotel . 100 points for the breakfast and the staff . Rooms are very cozy and spacious . There's an infinity pool and a beautiful view over the city . Expensive but well worth your money

Had a snack and drinks in the bar and it was amazing! Bar staff were so attentive and friendly . Ordered a salad and it was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth checking out!

Beautiful infinity pool , view over harbour , sea and Funchal on the mountain . Great food, great service - room spacious and well equipped with balcony and sea view . Will surely come again

Spacious rooms , huge hotel nice infinity pool with scenic views and tasty bar snacks . Portuguese tarts at breakfast were excellent. Certainly 4 Star, probably only 5 in it's heyday. Reccomended

PRO TIP!! If you're by the pool or enjoying the sun out on the lawn and hear the call from nature. Walk towards the space where they serve breakfast . behind the buffet there is a restroom .

Don't pay for internet access , wireless IS free in the lobby. You get vouchers with password, each last 30 minutes but you can have as many as you wish so it's really no issue.

Spacious . Well located. Good service . Great breakfast . Excellent facilities - but they're little used due to exorbitant prices eg Tennis court 10 euros per hour.

Awesome infinity pool . Many and spacey meeting rooms. The food is worse than decent.

Breakfast is ok, dinner in the big restaurant is a buffet and tastes bland and is overpriced as are the drinks in the bars of the hotel . The rooms and the rest of the facilities are great.

Have noticed comments about WiFi . It is now free in all rooms and public areas .

If you have breakfast outside be aware of the seagull hanging around. It will take your bacon (literally) if you are not careful!

The entertainment facilities such as discotheque and casino are available here.

Wifi is free now you get a password at reception that last 3 days

Room with a view is a must have!!

We (very reluctantly) paid 28 Euros for a week of wireless access. Pleased that it worked simultaneously on several devices.

They charge extra for wireless internet access - and then give you a wire if you want to use it in your room rather than in a public area !

Get the towels out before breakfast , its one of them
