There's a nice cafe around the corner called Red Rose . They open at 6 and serve coffee and food. Very nice when you've been freezing outside for hours already. Stay positive and respect each other! :)
Make sure to create an appointment online before showing up. Print all your documents. Get ready to wait at least an hour even with an appointment. Collect a number at the window when you arrive
If you want the GNIB, then be there before 7am it you won't get a ticket to be seen that day! Re entry Visas are treated separately and will be seen even if GNIB tickets run out.
The office itself is well setout and the seats aren't bad. That sadly completes my nice things to say... Be patient and good luck!
Must be patient. Try to get there very before 8am, get a number, go out for a coffee and come back later.
Be very, very patient! The employees here lack professionalism and maturity. Dressed casually and blatantly dismissive they do a disservice to the impression of Ireland .
Avoid getting up early and save your time - mail your re-entry visa documents to the address on the application. You can also drop them off in a sealed envelope into box 3 next to the front desk.
Get here really early if you don't want to stay on the line for more than one our or so. Staff is very found of themselves.
Use the MyQ website to find out how long you'll be waiting at <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://www.myq.ie"target="_blank" data-sig="HGIM/m9BqXhVQZKyUU3uJKC3GyQ=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://www.myq.ie</a>

Make sure to arrive early of you don't want to waste your entire day.
If your IRP is lost or stolen you need to report it to Garda first. If you don’t bring the report with you the clerk at desk 23 will refuse to help you until you have one.
If you are not an EU national and you work in Ireland you hate this place, and the dehumanising way you are forced to stand in line for hours and then firm over 300 euro for a plastic smart card.
You will be waiting for at least 4 hours. Come prepared.
Come early before 7 am. Very Long queue.
Demotivating. Makes you hate life and wonder where the hell are our taxes going.
For re-entry visa come early but it doesn't mean you will leave early
Long waiting lines . Be prepared to spend up to 5 hours to get sorted!
Workers get a lot of time away from their desks, I mean A LOT!!!!!
Bring a book or something else to kill your time.. You'll be waiting for few hours.
Waiting for hours, and don’t have more cards to print the IDs
Come early!
Come really early! Around 7:30AM.
Here @5.30 and 20th in the queue.
Shittiest service ever. Been waiting since 6.00 am, still waiting at 2.00 pm.
the only worst day you'll face in Dublin
Prepare for long visit
Student registation started at 9am. Come about this time, not so early but dont be late.
Legalize my visa !
Nothing good about this place. Same old same old - slow services, long Q!!
Hell on earth.
Good luck to all of Koreans in Ireland!!
