Good for groups ! So much to share. Table-top Korean grill with a lot of small plates as appetizers . Your clothes might smell after you walk out, but it's worth it.
This crowd pleasing Korean tabletop barbecue tastes as good as the picture looks. Get the kalbi , bulogi, or kimchee zigae. Also, don't wear cashmere, unless you want it to smell like barbecue forever. Read more
This popular Korean spot is just what you need when hunger comes calling in the middle of the night. It’s open late so you can feast on kalbi and bulgogi at most hours of the day. Read more
One of my favorite Korean bbq restaurant in Chicago. Twenty + kimchis are on your table even before you order! We’ve visited a number of times and I’ve been satisfied with everything we’ve ordered.
Amazing Korean BBQ available in town . Do yourself a favor and gather a group of friends for a night of fantastic food.
Everything! Goat meat soup , kimchi soup , boussam, korean bbq
As a change of pace from BBQ and apps, the bibimbap is also incredible.
Get the Bulgogi and Kalbi . Really good. Very authentic .
One of the best Korean BBQ place in Chicago. They will give you a lot of side dishes.
Best short ribs I've ever tasted. The big Korean beers are fun too. Be sure to avoid the tiny anchovies though unless you like really salty fishy flavors.
Great food and atmosphere. I've never had rude service here, some of the waitresses are definitely more friendly than others. I'd say always make reservations .
This is the most authentic Korean BBQ ! You get A LOT of beonchon. I feel like I'm back in Korea.
You will leave here stinking of smoke and grilled meats . Bring a change of clothes . Don't go here for a date. However, the food is good! Get the kalbi !
Great variety of banchan and decent meat portions! Service is not amazing, but this is quite normal for a Korean bbq place. Not my fave place, but still aces in my book .
Bulgolgi and cha doo kalbi (sp?) and the kimchi ????????
Best Korean BBQ in Chicago !
Love this place and I'm very picky on ethnic food -being Colombian. Great taste.
Try the Korean Sides - Omg-this all comes with Korean BBQ !
Don't wear your Sunday's best while eating here. They go around the restaurant spraying Eau de Korean BBQ on everyone.
When you grill, you get a plethora of banchan (side dishes). If you don't grill, you don't get as much. So grill!!!
Acclaimed to be the best but...Chewy octopus , okay Kalbi and kimchi . Expensive for what you received
Stephanie Izard, chef of Girl & the Goat , eats here on her nights off. She loves the Chop chae. Read more
Huge portions ; order wisely
Good Korean food and tasty ban chan.
Good food. Pork belly is disappointing though. Staff also is not very attentive
Kalbi is always delicious
Love the Kalbi !
The chapcahe is very good. Dont order the bibimbop , it has no taste, cant see the beef .
The best Korean BBQ , especially for four people
Yummy food. Too bad there are no sexy Korean waiters ;-)
This Korean BBQ joint dishes out charcoal-fueled Korean barbecue 24/7.
Omg everything is fantastic.
It was ok. Lots of food! Definitely enough for 2 to share.
Horrible service and over priced food. The banchan were nasty, the workers were over bearing and impatient and they included service tip on a group of four. Do not go here it's not worth it.
Sooooo many pickles and side dishes!
Good noodle dishes
Omg everything is good.
The marinated kal bi
Tell them you want to do the BBQ . Great food.
Get their gal bi, one of the best in town
Go with 5 or more people and order one of the party meals and lots of Plum wine !
Awesome as always
Charcoal Grilling
Great Korean Food .
Try the Yuk Gae Jang (Spicy Beef Soup )
Try to avoid weekends. It gets ridiculously busy.
Plum wine is good. But I don't think they could find ruder people as waiters if they listed "rudeness" as the only qualification for the job.
At Chicago’s legendary almost–all–night Korean barbecue temple San Soo Gab San, whose name means “mountain water valley mountain .” The restaurant keeps its coals lit between 10 a.m. and 5 a.m., Monday
I would one if not the best Korean BBQ in Chicago !
Favorite Yuk Gae Jang in Chicago.
Get the chadolbagi - at the end they cook the rice and leftovers all together on the grill. Delicious! - Christine Tantoco
Skip the bibimbop, but try all the tacos! Fave was the Korean short rib and panko shrimp tacos! - Alison
Get the daktigem and soju cocktail; try the watermelon or strawberry flavor to start. - Rain Ire
The staff here is awesome and take great care of their clients. Very attentive crew. Handled our large crowd excellently. - Bruce G

CB&J (cashew butter and fig jam) comes with Mac & cheese and house made chips is absolutely amazing - Damon Sununtnasuk
