The whole museum is wonderfully set out. You can tell a lot of hard work has gone into making it! Can easily spend a couple of hours there. Loved the science section, so many things to explore!
Fantastic place for toddlers, the playground is brilliant! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable . A must visit in Newcastle.
Definitely like being in a cave , but it's a great place to bring kids on a hot or rainy day. And the regular exhibits are free!!

Monday night is $10 fish and chips, Tuesday $10 schnitty, chips and salad & Wednesday is $10 steak, chips and salad (Sauces extra). Drinks are steep but the view makes it worth it (just). - Steve Lucas
