The molten lava cake was one of the best I ever had. Hot chocolate with marshmallows was really good too. Pricey though. Hot chocolate plus lava cake was almost $20.
The mocha espresso with whip cream , the 3 sauce churros and the veggie sandwich was the best lunch for me. Can't miss this place if you come to Old San Juan!
Get there early. They need to improve their hostess & sitting arrangement. Good food, delicious hot chocolate and waiters are polite. Good service . Great memorabilia . Eggs Benedictus are really good.
Big assortment of hot and cold chocolates ... But the chocolate pizza is a great deal and enough for two! Wish there were more chocolate cocktails on the menu!
Chocolate !!!!!!!! Oh my goodness this place is a dream. Coffee and chocolate . Local coffee and chocolate fused together for the perfect cup of Joe. Food is amazing, filling and beautiful
Amazing chocolate , and the very best people!! We did a chocolate tasting for 60 while in Puerto Rico for company retreat...loved the pistachio truffle , pastries and amazing hot chocolate .
Mocha Chocofrio , amazing!! Chocolate Waffles are awesome!! If you are in the mood for good brunch , this place is perfect! Amazing service too! Visit the art gallery on the top floors!
Hidden Gem of a cafe we found while in port . Just about everything has chocolate in it even if not sweet. Try it you will love it.
It seems like a popular spot for celebrations, especially birthdays. I really enjoyed my hot chocolate , even with the cheese cubes added, but after that, I didn’t feel the need for anything more.
Pretty adventurous uses of chocolate on the menu here. Had a hot chocolate with cheese in it. Definitely curious to try some of the sandwiches . The gallery connected to this place is great, as well .
Pechuga de Pollo Gratinada con Quinta y Habichuelas was very good. Chocolate chile rubbed chicken . The service was great, as well !
We tried the Don Pedro and The Dark Knight drinks, both were excellent. We had the mofoguitos and the churros delight, they were also both outstanding.
A must-go for chocoholics . Wifi : "CasaCortes WIFI " password: "210sanfrancisco"
My favorite croissants ever! Must must have! And definitely the mocha coffee as well . Heaven.

Casa Cortés is beautiful and a great place to be with the family and friends. The food is wonderful!!! The music is woow!
Super good, but make sure you take your appetite for sweetness into account 😮
Don't taste the piece of chocolate that comes with your hot drink. It's unsweetened. Just dunk it and let it melt and enjoy the richness.
Very trendy and busy. Loved their concept, everything is combined with their chocolate .
Only been for Churros and Hot Chocolate and I can say that is very good... It hits the sweet spot!
Delicious and surprisingly one of the few things open in the weird time before lunch but after breakfast .
I loved the acai juice with chocolate !!! It went well with my croissant and chocolate
Great food and good service . They have a variety of food, some without chocolate as well .
Definitely get some chocolates and try their drinks. Food isn’t anything special
Recommend for a nice brunch on a Sunday morning with family. Is a local cocoa shop.
Very trendy and cozy ! Passion fruit choco-frio is to die for!
Grilled Choco ,don pedro, bellota cacao and Choco pizza ! :)
The owner happened to be sitting next to us and only stood up to personally greet two Spanish tourists . It's a shame locals do t get the same treatment as visitors. Lady, learn to treat your customers
The Valenciano hot chocolate is rich and tasty. Nice ambiance and friendly service .
Potatoes with chorizo , Puerto Rican hot chocolate , guava and cheese sandwich mmmm :)
This place is delightful, Lucy (one of the hostesses ) is a character!!! Must come here for her alone!
Try the passion mimosa and the ice chocolate shake . Food was ok but a little overrated. Service was great Rebecca the waiter was a hoot.
The Ciabatta de Pollo a la Parrilla is amazing!
Chocolate heaven for the chocoholic ! Have a chocogasm with Cortes ~ The Puerto Rican Chocolate !
