Great little (with the emphasis on little) cafe well worth the drive to the quiet side of the lake . Excellent breakfasts , served 'til 4 p.m.
I had an amazing kale and beet salad with an awesome veggie soup .
Don't miss the corned beef hash for breakfast . It's the best I've ever had. They cure their own corned beef and make the hash to order.
Skip the tourist traps across the lake and come here for a delicious burger and some very unique chocolate cake that will leave your lips smackin. No choco cake ? Brûlée is popular.
Delicious breakfast . Bread pudding french toast rocks! Fast friendly service too.
Everything is amazing. Try the artichoke sammie, portobello burg, mushroom ragu & the crab wontons . ALL AT ONCE. ;)
Wonderful place, amazing food and friendly staff .
Kid said the burger was good. My hot spinach salad was sadly smashed and filled with hot boiled potatoes :(I barely touched it, but wasn't asked if I liked it or wanted it replaced, but to take it
Great food and service. My favorite in Big Bear. Away from touristy prices.
Friendly staff , great food! Try the spinach , portobello mushroom omelet ! Deeeelish!!
Get the tabouli !
Try the Rueben , it's homemade corned beef .
Mmm patty melts ! And a great selection of teas
Seriously one of the best burgers ever.
Don't be in a hurry

Cool gastropub. Split the Cali Burger, Steak Fries and Mac & Cheese with my wife. All were really good! - Andy Frost
The Toboggan sandwich on squaw bread is so yummy!!! - Melinda De La Ossa
Took a day trip here from LB and was absolutely wowed by the natural beauty and relatively easy and BEAUTIFUL drive. It’s like being transported to another world. Came in March and snowy too! - Michael Morgan
