One of my favorite museums that I've ever been to, I especially enjoy the large exhibits that they have. First Fridays are the best days to go, check it out if you have any interest in art whatsoever.
Excellent museum . The outlay is perfect for an afternoon of easy meandering, admiring the art , great outdoor spaces , modern aesthetic and laid back vibe. Very good cafe too! See Palate Cafe review.
The exhibits are great! A lot to see! I really appreciated that there was English and Spanish translation. Went on family free day which was also awesome. Definitely would have paid to visit.
The range of work here should please everyone--contemporary to Hispanic, and Pre-Columbian, a favorite of mine. Ssome art that I saw at the Phoenix Art Museum that is on par with what I saw in Spain
Second time here and I continue to be impressed. The Rudi Gernreich retrospective & the related Fashion Subversive exhibition were excellent.
Very beautiful museum . The building itself is much like a work of art . I am old school so I didn't like the contemporary art as good as the renaissance and baroque I can appreciate it all nonetheless!
Be sure to come to the museum on First Fridays - it's open for free! They have live music , food, tons to do. They also shuttle guests around the downtown arts district to take in vendors/food trucks .
"You Who Are Getting Obliterated in the Dancing Swarm of Fireflies " is a must see on the second floor. It's a mirrored room with LED lights that pulse and seem to go on forever. Cool art outside too.

A great place for a first date. Reason A: It's just a good excuse to see some great art . Reason B: Those awkward silences can be easily brushed aside as critical thought.
