Conveniently connected to MRT station. Huge mall that caters to low-mid price point. Lots of great food. FairPrice is a nice bonus too. Only complaint is it's too difficult to get a taxi here!
The only largest heartland mall in the north-east sector of Singapore. It now boasts of tenants like Uniqlo, H&M, Sephora and lots more. Don't be shy to add to the crowd!
24 Apr 2016: Just come across these cuttie cakes at BreadTalk @ NEX shopping mall ???????????? The box of assorted flavours Macarons looks good for tea break too ????
Jack's Place: Daily Set Lunch promotion from S$13.80++ including Soup of the Day, Garlic Bread , Cake , Coffee/Tea. Available from 11am to 5pm. There's decent grilled fish and soft veg as soft-food too.
There's nothing much in this mall . I only look forward to the H&M and the cake shop downstairs. And for dog lovers there's a dog park on the roof outside Pet Safari.
I know this place inside out. During non peak hours, take the lift it will be lots faster. You can cut through isetan from level 3 to level 1 down to NEL.
Found clip-on universal fisheye, wide angle lens & shutter remote for touchphone/tablet at 'toy ' box shop at Da Cube hidden at #04-10. Its cheaper than the other 'toy ' box shop at #B2 prime location.
This mall 's eateries (of below S$10 food) are super crowded during weekends peak lunch time; glad I found Ya Kun Cafe hidden at far end odd corner of the mall ; eat in peace & decent vacant seats.
Feedback for Nex cn b gd or bad, but actually overall , it's just a shopping not wonder mall . Don't expect everything to be perfect. It's of course crowded so don't blame. as u r part of the crowd.
You can go to the second floor of the pet shop to take a look at all the adorable puppies while waiting for your movie to start!!!!! :)
Weekend lunch time super crowded : Carpark vacant lots without needing to wait could be found at furthest away corner at the roof top of ex-bus interchange (next to this mall ). Lots of walking... Blah!
Food Junction on L4 has wide selection. Like the friendly & tasty JJ Thai St cuisine
Huge mall with a Cinema and a wide variety of shops. Finally an Awesome hangout for the North Eastside! PS: Parking will be a problem if you drive.
Thankfully a shopping mall here at last! Been staying in this serangoon "village " for so long, yet the need to travel elsewhere for entertainment. Now there's shaw cinema , virtualand, many nice f&b!
Be careful in the car park when coming down the slopes and be alert to go up using the correct slopes. Always stay alert and be patient, especially during when the car park is crowded . Thanks.
The carpark here is small and tight. Will not drive here again. Getting in and out of Nex via bus or the MRT really makes life much easier. Lots of shops and services. Great place to hang out!! =)
Fish soup lover, do not miss out the awesome fish soup located at level 4 foodcourt.
Crowded ! busy. Well connected by MRT -CCL/NEL and buses . It has lot of food, FairPrice, Coldstorage, Courts, Challenger, Isetan, Popular, many shops. Shaws Cinemas . NLB and water activiity for kids.
Huge and crowded mall along the NE line interchange with Circle line . Most exits are either going right into the mall or just outside the mall .
Loads of good food and larger than what I expected! Try sogurt but think the outlet at bttimah has more varieties (:there's nice restaurants such as the ship, barcelos,Texas, hippo, mad jack etc!
There's a 24 hours NTUC, Shaw Cinema , Pet Safari, King & King Wong and lots of restaurants . It's suppose to be a nice shopping mall except for it's design flaw. The architects should be shot dead.
Putien & Soup restaurant are on Level 1, good Chinese food .
Convenient from Serangoon MRT with many different shops. The Japanese food mall has many different types of Japanese stalls with authentic Japanese food .
So many eateries ! We tried the shokutsu 10 Japanese food street. A store that sells soba . Fantastic!!!
One of the Kiosk (BUMS) sells unique favoured lipbums imported from USA. Reasonable price too. "Loves it" btw, it's at one of the kiosk on level 4.
Mall offers complimentary loan of wheelchairs & baby strollers. Enquire at the Customer Service counter at level B2
2x 7-eleven, 1x cold storage, 1x ntuc Xtra, 1x shaw cinema , 1x shokutsu10, 1x challenger, 1x newstead, 1x m1, 1x starhub, 1x toastbox etc = crowded everyday!
Quite a complex network of shops and food places. The Japanese food area has a nice Japanese vibe.
Convenient shopping complex with most brands you can find in Orchard Road . Located near the Serangoon MRT Station.
Weekends are buzzing so your best bet is come on a weekday and take a train . Taxi queue lines are crazy long
This place is like a maze, especially to senior citizens. Still, there are tons of restaurants . Arcade is decent. Overall not a very entertaining mall , but again, tons of food.
Bring your kids to the Sky Garden at the top level for some splashing fun. There is a well-designed water playground . Get the towels ready though.
For yogurt lovers- Glacious frozen yogurt located at basement 2 next to bread talk. Taste is light, refreshing and staff are always helpful and friendly .
Lai Lai Casual Dining . Good food. Good place for 2 person! Simple homely meals for people who loves taiwan delights!!!
Fish soup lover, the fish soup located at level 4 foodcourt is awesome!!!!
The large chicken at level 3 opposite yoguru very nice, bug and cheap better than shilin

I think it's one of the few neighbourhood shopping centre that has cinema , arcade , KTV, ect. I'm really glad I stay in Serangoon(:
Check out the electronics on the 3rd and 4th floors.
Hmm!! The chocolate bun inside the cold storage is nice !!! Haha! Worth the money. It's 70cents per bun .
the Nasi lemak at Grandma is worth trying. nice food!
There's a roof top water park for kids to play, its a nice concept especially in hot Singapore. Shaw theaters either have poor exiting directions or have weird exit after a movie , not good.
Eat pepper lunch at lvl 4 and take the shortcut escalator near the roti prata shop to skip lvl3
The shaw theater is awesome. Better quality than the other shaw theaters around
Vivo city is still the biggest compared to here! Because Vivo has Giant in it! Lol.. Nice heartland shopping mall with lots of shops...
Always enjoy either Penang Kitchen or The Ship.
Broaster Chicken is the BEST! Its on the 1st level with the exit facing Braddell Heights CC. Pwns KFC and Macs handsdown anytime :D
This is my favorite mall . It has everything I could possibly find w/o having to drive to town
Park at the open-air carpark behind the old bus interchange. Convenient and short walk to MacDonalds & Food Republic.
Wa liao!! Every weekend I go to Nex, some of the eating place at Nex are full. I and my family will have to wait for the seat.. Stupid
