Stayed in one of the suites which was huuuuuuge. Free wifi for 24 hours in and around the reception area. Cakes on display in Viva Lounge (next to reception) very impressive :-)

Public Areas Modern & Tidy, Rooms can be a bit shabby, but hit n miss. Free Wifi worked fine. Wedding service was great, efficient & professional. A bit of a maze to start with.

As others have said it needs some TLC. There is evidence of refurb work going on. I will say the breakfast is good even if the room was a little squalid.

If you want a cheaper alternative to the hotel restaurant , try The Cat and Lion. They do 2 for £10. It's only one junction down the M56 at WA4 4NB.

Great customer service. Older rooms are showing their age. Service is a little slow despite being quiet in the restaurant .

Time the hotel had a refurb . No air in the rooms, window opens an inch and mattresses are poor... It's conveniently situated for Creamfields tho... The only good point for one weekend over a year

Generally very poor hotel , needs a massive makeover. Make sure not on the third level in the old wing. Rooms are dated and bathrooms grubby the internet rarely works.

Simply tip.. Find another hotel ...

Absolute rip off bar - almost 5 pounds a pint - arseholes

the bar is over priced and under staffed not what i expect from a top quality hotel
