Great food and totally worth the ££. What you may not know is there's a lovely courtyard where you're welcome for drinks and bar menu if you aren't up for the full dinner inside. Also fab coffee .
In a refurbished open space (something very Scandinavian about it), modern, delicious and fresh food is presented in small portions. Relatively good value and friendly service .
Veggie menu is excellent and there are some hits and misses but the hits are incredible. The cauliflower dish was like a Sunday dinner with every mouthful. Tasting wines were sometimes misjudged.
Tasting menu is great. Wine/beer pairings don't actually add value and all taste pretty similar. Better off getting a bottle. Any bottle. Lovely environment. Impeccable service. Quite expensive .
Really beautiful food. Great decor and interesting wine list . Definitely worth a visit. A very memorable lunch .
Their Daily Set Menu contains many treats that should not be missed, especially the raw roe deer. I know it's hard to look past the wine list , but their homemade soft drinks are a refreshing change
Food was excellent as was the service. Nice buzz about the place in what used to be Lawson' timber yard I think for those older Edinburgh folk. Partridge starter v good. Would miss out the lite bite

Done early to get the set menu . Four pieces of heaven for a mere £22. Best value for money in Edinburgh. And a fantastic staff !

Typical gourmet ...small portions, very long dishes names and obviously high price. You pay but you don’t go home with any particular experience !
Try the scallop starter! It's seafoody goodness will blow your taste buds away

It's all about the craft beer here. Fantastic selection on tap and in bottles. Can't fault the range and selection. The food is good too. I had the locally sourced pork pie and it was very good. - Richard Street
