Despite of what people are saying bad things about here, I am extremely happy with the experience. Food is worth the price, the waitresses are VERY happy and attentious and the atmosphere is lovely.
Two stores here; a Japanese Resto on the right, and a Ramen Resto on the left. The latter is the one I'd suggest for a bowl of the spicy 'Tan-Tan' Ramen ! :)
Not sure why the ramen restaurant is lumped in with the sushi . If not, ramen side would get higher marks. The noodles were pretty good and the pork was lean and well done. The drinks menu is very lean
Love the ramen , tofu and california maki . Will be back for bento ! 😍😝
The service is getting way better. The last few times I went for pick up or eat in the were friendly and fast and the food was good!
Fresh Slice from across welcomes you to treat yourself to a more appetizing and cheaper meal.
Kawasaki ramen and miso ramen
Server rolled her eyes at us when we asked if my 94 year old granny can be exempt from the all-u-can-eat menu. Its just a question!
Pretty mediocre food. Ordered chicken teriyaki from the regular menu and found it a bit pricy with the amount and quality (ps: extra $1.50 for rice !!)
If you are looking for a light meal try the veggie yakisoba , like chow mein but a light sauce with fresh ginger . Nice place to relax with the waterfall
Get the original ramen for $6.95. Perfect for a pre-movie snack ...=)
Service was slow. Appetizers arrived after mains. Vegetable teriyaki was a plate of bean sprouts . Vegetable tempura was only undercooked yam and sweet potato .
Dinner with the whole family
Ramen was ok. Service was not; It was slow. I recieved my side order of egg . 15min prior to my noodles being served. There was no drinks on the menu, so you only got water or tea .
If you're craving sushi - go across the street to Sushi Garden ! Deeelicious!
Worst Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. Service wasn't great and the food didn't taste good. The beef teriyaki was dry, the tempura was super oily, the tuna sashimi had fish bones in it.. Bad.
Worst zaru soba and tempura ever, looks like they defrosted the noodles and served it out. beer (Kirin ) was also flat. Stay away if want good Japanese food and not stomach filler.
If you crave AYCE then go to Kingsway Sushi down the road . It's not even fair to mention them together.
Great sushi but mediocre service.
Lunchtime all-you-can eat: Weekdays at $11.95, weekends $12.95.
The deluxe sushi combo is worth it.
Totally enjoyed this place.
Service and cooking is slow. Their ramen restaurant is a bit better.
Awful service for ayce . The food that you order does not come and when you ask about it, the servers blame you.
Walked out without ordering. The prices are off for the quality of food and service. Go elsewhere.
I don't think I've ever had such terrible ramen before...
Sloooow service
OMG so SLOW!
What a bad service! It doesn't matter what we'd ordered they'd bring what they want to. Is this what a "All you can eat " means ?! NO TIP 4 U ... We'll never eat here again!
Food, average at best. Service, average at best. Overall this place is in Metropolis and that's all it really has going for it.
Food, average at best. Service, average at best. It is in Metropolis, so.. It has that going for it.
Mandatory 15% service charge on parties of 6 or more - yet they give NO SERVICE. Never coming back again.
good fresh food ! terrible service and long waiting times
Place was filthy!! Food was gross! Service was sub par to say the least.
One of the worst Japanese restaurant I never been.
Don't bother getting anything other than sushi and sashimi . Everything else taste bad.
Never ever get the motoyaki!! So gross. Better yet go to a different place~ worst service ever
Worst service in Burnaby. Disappointing food. Nabeyaki udon tasted like water and the waitress doesn't know what shichimi is...
Unfortunately the service Sucks! Waited 20 mins for them to realize they misplaced our order.
Customer service aside - convenience mall location with lots of underground parking, good selection and competitive pricing. Mornings are definitely the best time to come to shop. - S K
Chachi's is the place to go. Fresh, hot sandwiches on good bread. Get the BLT. - Michael Abon
The tonkotsu ramen is excellent. The bacon sushi is interesting and is basically a BLT. - Ryan Yee
Love the chashu ramen - but whatever you order make sure to add the twinkle (pork dumplings) or bomb (rice balls). - Kris Fulton
The seafood congee really hits the spot on cold rainy days. Or if you're sick. - Dilara 🐰
love the mall, very big and very vibrant. people are nice too!!!!! - leanne watkinson
I love to come in here and explore. I find it so relaxing. Huge selection of books, lots of great suggestions on display. - Craig Kerbrat
