The North Shore usually has bigger waves and cool to watch the surfers. Waves are a bit too big for n00bs tho.
Used to have an almost unobstructed view from Kam Hwy till some developer bought the land and sold multi-million dollar homes.
Find the always closed parking gate and walk in from Kam Hiway.

Section of one of the best beaches of Oahu with good facilities: multiple parking spots, showers, restrooms. You can walk on the beach to Banzai and head into the water in the surf spot you like most. - Carmen
