You Peng Noodle Dumpling House is a dim sum restaurant Bukit Timah located in Singapore.
#04-23, Beauty World Centre (144 Upper Bukit Timah Road) 588177 Singapore
My go-to xiaolongbao place nowadays. Like the sour&spicy soup as well . The guotie (fried dumplings ) is oily and skin is thick but is nice, if you can look past those.🥟
Fried Shanghai bao was OK but we won’t be ordering again. The meat filling strangely remained as a tight ball in the middle of the bun , so we had to nibble at it to get some meat with each bite
I can finish the whole 10 pieces, so can you. If you care to notice, every pieces are identical and equally well prepared to satisfy your tongue .
The Shou Zhua Bing (手抓饼), or literally "Hand-Grabbed Pancake " is pretty good here. It's very similar to a Roti Prata Kosong.
And ... they have a loyalty card programme! How's that for a food court stall!
Fried pancake ($7) tasted factory-made. Not crispy enough
Their steamed dumplings had a gamey sticky texture, probably from adding liver
Stick to their xiao long baos . The wor tip (pan-fried dumplings/pot stickers) were excessively oily and skin too thick
Xiao long bao & pan fried dumplings , yum!!
Xiao Long Bao here is juicy. Shop moved from 6th ave.
One of the best 'bang for your buck' Xiao Long Baos around.
生煎包 is a big disappointment. Expensive and not delicious.
Love their handmade noodles here and their sauce for the dry noodles is the bomb. - Elizabeth Lee
Bibimbap ($11.90) First time I have fried omelette in this Korean dish. Overall flavour not fantastic. Not likely to order again - Cheen The Curious
40 years of history, helmed by 2nd generation hawker. Teochew style cuisine - Gary Teo
Totally enjoyed their dumpling la mian. Succulent savoury pork filling - Cheen The Curious
Nice tiny kong bah bao, char siew bao & loh mai kai! - Belle Isa
Steamed carrot cake and steamed glutinous rice in lotus leaf is a must try. - Siang
