You can take a mini bus or cab (white cab with meter) to anywhere it's central. Tahrir is close and u must go to Tal'at Harb street you'll find cinemas , shopping,food etc

If you're traveling to any other state in Egypt then you can either take the train , which is located here, or take a microbus from here as well

Its the heart of Cairo u can travel to all of Egypt starting from here and explore all of greater Cairo.

Although it's sometimes late and not very good, but always use the train , it's way better than buses and microbuses for traveling to and from Cairo.

You can take a microbus to Mars if you wanted :D :D
