Unique place, where most of the frescoes are from 12th and 13th century , and are perfectly preserved! One of the best examples of Byzantine and medieval art in Eastern Europe.

The Boyana Church is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church situated on the outskirts of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in the Boyana quarter.The building was added tp UNESCO World Heritage List.

Wear good shoes and bring refreshments. Better to get the bus up to the church & trek down the hill to the Museum . Sofia center get #604 to #64 bus . Going back use #2 since it's close to the museum

Amazing and ancient church ! I really got goosebumps inside! But remember no pics are allowed. The entrance is 10 levs and you can only visit it for 10 min!

Церковь 9 го века под защитой ЮНЕСКО. Индивидуальным путешественникам нужно знать: посещение в форме групп, лучше заранее резервировать время, иначе очереди . Вход 10 лев, 2 для студентов.

Надо идти в хорошую погоду и насладится божественной природой в саду

Pas très intéressant, prévoyez 10lv pour entrer dans l'église , on voulais aussi faire des randonnées mais la nature n'étais pas très fraîche (mois de mars)
