Really good zoo with plenty of variety of animals and lots to see. Quite a big site with lots of walking though. Best to plan what you want to see in advance.
Great zoo with some really impressive enclosures . Really nice to see some different animals such as Echidnas. Definitely recommend. Direct bus from Torquay if you don't want to drive
Such a lovely zoo with a real diverse array of animals and exhibits , boys absolutely love it. Many play areas to keep the entertained and lots of coffee shops , very family friendly
A full day of animal fun for the whole family if your feet can take it. Pleasant but pricey restaurant and daily talks at various enclosures . Lots of uphill walking & poor signposting / map direction.
You must visit the big cats just before closing. We always get the best activity when they about to go off show. Also, do not miss the Parrot Show!
If you want to see the red pandas make sure you go at the panda talk time, was about 3:15pm when I went last week. Otherwise they will be hiding in the trees
There are some amazing enclosures where you can get close to the animals like the Giraffes , Lemurs , Meerkats etc.
We had an amazing day, my boys loved it. It's a good idea to book in advance online to avoid queues x
Print a map before you come. The "you are here" maps are few and far between. Maps are £3 to buy at the zoo .
Go to Treetops cabin near Monkey Hill and try the chicken bites - brilliant

Food is expensive but it's worth it! Animals may be hard to spot also.

Just having a cup of tea in Morrisons, Paignton Zoo, it's quieter than usual the cafe is as standard and the store is big enough to do your weekly shop. Location is great for a day at the Zoo - Christopher R Wills
