The house dates from the 17th century and was remodelled in the 1820s and is one of the finest Elizabethan Revival mansions in Ireland. The gardens at Killruddery are the oldest in Ireland still surviving in their original 17th Century unique style.

The farmer 's market on saturdays is small with gorgeous foodstalls. Bring money! My Relaxing Time sells their beautiful home made soaps and products there.

It is a good park for hiking and it has a playground (beside one of the car parks) a little coffee shop with a terrace (check the maps) - Esperanza Navas
