Great gastropub with fancy food menu. Wish the real ale beer selection was a bit larger. Comfortable inexpensive rooms on site.
Try the pre-7pm fixed price menu, it's really nice and great value
Fine in the evening, food good and well priced. Dramatically understaffed for breakfast the following morning.
It's all about the duck salad followed by sticky toffee pudding , amazing!!

Nice pub and hotel but avoid the rear rooms (1 and 3) due to the noisy vents from the kitchen.
Best place I've been for rib-eye!! And that's coming from a butcher .
First impression was good, food was good as well , but the service..bring wrong order, put in the bill big portions instead of ordered smalls..disappointing
