The long shopping street, like a flea market . I think everything could be found from this place, and it would be very cheap . One of the must visit place in Seoul!
Tons of cheap Korean products and well-known brand knock-offs. Please try to haggle before buying. It can get as low as 50% from its original price. Happy shopping!
I love being here. If you looking for some souvenir, this is the place, you can bargain a lil bit. The price better than any where else. Also so many korean snack ..!!
By Hoehyeon exit 5, walk into the market and on your left you will see a makeshift-ish door of plastic. Inside you’ll find the Kalguksu alley - famous for cheap 3 course meal for 5500-6000 Won.
A great place to shop with the locals but the real star for me—if you can find it—is "Kalguksu Alley " where you can have a super fresh boribap, kalguksu and bibim naengmyeon lunch for next to nothing.
NAMDAEMUN MARKET : Outdoor traditional market where you can buy almost everything. Walk along the market road and enjoy the various street food . One of my favorites is 'HO-TTEOK'(sugar-filled pancake ).
Cash only . Visit at night. The largest traditional market in Korea with more than 10,000 stores. Great place to buy Ginseng too at the best price
If you would love to buy presents for your family and friends. You will exchange your money in a easy way and you can also try some Korean food . You have to visit here and Seoul Tower ( is near here )
The best tourist market in Seoul. Lots of souvenir and gift shops and snacks to keep you going. Must do in Seoul.
This place reminds me a bit of the LA Fashion District. However, there are "real" stores a short walk away. Also, if you don't want (or trust) the street food there are also safer options near.
Not the choice of market for the young and trendy . Little stalls of food line the center of the market walkways starting from the evenings. Heaps of options for street food , even the sit-down options.
It is Korea’s largest traditional market with over 10,000 stores lining the streets. Groceries , imported goods and souvenirs you can get at reasonable prices. Bargaining is the key to shopping here.
This place is huge. And not just stalls along the streets, just wonder into any building and u will be surprised what u can find inside. From clothes to accessories to cookware to dried goods.
To get to "Kalguksu Alley ", take exit 5 from Hoehyeon Station . Upon exiting, turn right, and walk a short distance. The entrance is on your left hand side.
Opened in 1964, this large area of stalls offers clothes , household goods & local items . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namdaemun_Market
Everything can be haggled ^^ I used to check price in all camera stores before making a decision. And don't forget to enjoy street food .
Unusually quiet for what's purported 2b 1 of the most popular street mkt.Perhaps it's the time of nite.Prices tend 2b cheaper.Place isn't very clean.Nearest metro:Hoehyeon Station .
Nice market with nice thing. For me not so cheap after convert to my currency. Example the most cheap thing here is 5000 korea won.. After convert to rm it will cost me RM18 per item. Must think b4 buy
You never have to buy jewelry ever again. Everything you see in stores originates from here. There's nothing you won't find, from trendy to costume to classic.
I just love this market . Next time come must bring a lot of money so i can enjoys shopping. Not so cheap but the quality is good #cryingcauseibringlessmoney
There’s nothing much to see during the day as it is more of a market place selling clothes and arts and craft, the street food is limited which only starts selling around 5-6pm onwards
Cheap Korean brooch, souvenirs, fake branded snapbacks cap, i love seoul shirts , vintage shops , accessories .. This is heaven for me!
One of two most important market in Seoul. If you want souvenir, this is the place where retail sellers come and get items for their shops.
You can find all cheap souvenirs here! Please buy from the cart instead of buying from the shop! Wayy cheaper
Best place to get souvenirs and grab a snack or two from the street vendors.
The hodduk stand near Gate 5 has some of the best vegetable hodduk (야채호떡) in all of Seoul!
This is the place to be if u r looking for souvenirs.. U can get everything here! Must try their local food there too
Spicy chocolate ! I always buy boxes here for myself and as pasalubong. Try their spicy soup (mandu-gook) to ward off the cold!
Amazing place to experience a Korean market . Be ready for the crowds though and come with lots of patience.
Had some great bibimbap . Really fun place to just walk around.
Lots of fun walking from one end to the other. Look for the stand selling jap chae wrapped in dough and deep fried.
Try the fresh fruit and all the local street food !
A good place for getting children stuff and usual street food . Women coats also selling cheap !

Goods from cheap to mid-price. You'll find everything in one place here.
good place to shop. cheaper than myeongdong , but you need to buy early, they close early, that's why we weren't able to buy there already
You can find almost anything here. Strawberries are just wonderful.
another traditional market that you can find a wide variety of korean products, including foods..
While you can find lotsa different goods here from clothes to food, it is no Myeongdong or Dongdaemum, no trendy stuffs here.
Wide variety of merchandise in reasonable prices ????????????????????????
Get a pair of light weight Korean made eyeglasses. Very good price. (need to negotiate a bit)
Get most of your souvenirs here! Don't forget to try their homemade noodles near Gate 5 of the Market .
Open on weekends - even though google says its closed ????♀️
Price of goods is cheap here, you can bargain
Namdaemun Market is so large that you will never manage to see all of it. But that doesn't matter because they have nice stuff everywhere.
Cheap food. And there is one money exchange stall that offer good rates. It's near the tourist information straight from exit 5
The place is a labyrinth and getting lost is the best part!
Buy your snacks and souvenirs here!
