I'm a coastal girl by heart... grew up by the sea. So when i'm missing the ocean I take an hour & half drive to SPI to visit their awesome beaches ! It's beautiful out here & refreshing. #saltlife

January is a perfect time of year to visit if you like cool, misty, breezy weather. Scarcely populated beach is a plus too!

Bring an umbrella , a book and sunscreen . If you want to go all out bring a big canopy and some food.

Beautiful and not crowded after Labor Day weekend. Jim's Rentals has umbrellas and chairs, so need to worry about bringing your own.
