One of the most beautiful and well preserved pubs in London . Partitions and minuscule doors in between are classic. The restaurant on the back side is delicious.

Amazing old style pub with partitions you have to duck under at the front. Nice dining area and gastro style food. Also looks like there are she cellar booths downstairs.

It's rare to see genuinely friendly service . Not "I've been trained customer service", but real customer service. This had it. Plus an interesting pub with a great range of lagers to boot.

Had a duff pint, bar staff sorted it straight away and took it off serving. Great service with that and other interactions

Sunday roast . Untouchable. I've tried to duplicate the flavor at home. Cant be done.

Try the sticky toffee pudding ! Accompanied with pistacio ice cream , a real treat for those with a sweet tooth.

Currently closed for refurbishment after part of the Victorian ceiling crumbled.

Booths have their own door onto the street and bar access, so perfect for 6 Nations watching with mates.

Every Friday lobster & ribs night at their cellars . Reserve beforehand!

Never eaten, but a very pretty pub with nooks which you have to bend down for to get through the tiny doors

More than worth a visit to gawp at the immaculate period interior replete with snugs, snob holes and incredible carved bar . The ridiculous prices and lack of real ale won't help to tempt you back.

The beer on hand pump is reliably rubbish. Get the Guinness , leffe or double choc stout .

Some Youngs ales sometimes available bottled if you ask.. Depends on fridge contents.
