Scotland Street School Museum is a museum Kinning Park Glasgow located in United Kingdom.
225 Scotland St Glasgow Glasgow City G5 8QB United Kingdom
This is another building designed by well-known and loved Scottish architect Charles Mackintosh. Easy to find, as it is right next to the Shields Road station. Free Admission. Closed on Mondays.
Reconstructions of classrooms from various points in the school’s lifetime, combined with grumbling headmaster and cleaner will have older visitors recalling their own schooldays.
Fascinating insight into school life from 1908 until 1978. Love the Macintosh touches around the building
It’s worth a visit for its supreme facade and interesting museum of education that occupies the interior.
Nice, quiet cafe with a good range of drinks , coffee 's & tea 's.
Great fun for the family & free ???? ????
Nice cafe now replaced with disappointing vending machines. They don't take notes and there's no change machine.
Try the tray bake selection in the cafe ! Awesome!
Smashing cup of hot chocolate and best fudge brownie ever
Very nice place
It’s right opposite Shields Rd subway station and there’s an OK cafe here.
Great for a Quiet walk, just to get away from things for a while. And if you get there on a nice day, it's even better. - Adam Wilson
Really interesting museum with loads to see and do, all housed in a great building too! Won European museum of the year in 2013. - Tristan Comley
