A nice stop, worth the $4.00 to exercise your legs and climb to the top. The view is great of the area. The museum has great interpretive signage.
Make sure to come early! The crowd starts getting here around 10:00. And watch for those stairs , they're pretty steep. View is worth the climb though!!!
Built in 1852. Offers a beautiful view of South Padre Island and Laguna Madre, which inspired the setting of Laura Griffin’s thriller UNSPEAKABLE. Read more

Seems they have a family movie night that projects on the light house. Seems nice, everyone brings food and beach towels to sit on.
This is a nice spot to climb up and see the surrounding landscape.
Go across the street and fall off your diet at Will & Jack's. Get the 420 burger .
Don't wear a skirt ! Lol
Cool historical site
Oh...and don't go drunk!
They don't allow kids under 38 inches tall to go in lighthouse . Pretty stupid, in my opinion.
