The mousse ???????????? I had the prawn cake and tuna steak for main. My friend had the sheep cheese/cake and risotto for main. And then the infamous mousse for dessert ! Gorgeous food and amazing service

Franny S

Eater: link between tradition & contemporary , as in the oxtail broth served w/ egg-soaked toast . Save room for dessert : The dense, decadent chocolate mousse , served tableside from a huge mixing bowl.

Sofia Galego

Fantastic Portuguese food ! Delicious goat rice , and pastéis de massa tenra. Nice vibe, friendly and caring staff and great wine list .

Adnan Manjal

Always amazing food. Go for the shrimp in chili and garlic for starter, the classic bacalhau and the shrimp Açorda dish. And must end the meal with their spectacular chocolate mousse .

clive kornitzer

Great atmosphere authentic food and wine list all portugal. Save room for either the chocolate mousse or truffles both home made

Travel + Leisure

A go-to restaurant in Bairro Alto . Try the classic pataniscas de bacalhau (cod fritters ) with red beans and rice .

Pawel C

Delicious duck breast and good wine selection ! Book ahead as it seems full every night

Shabna Zaheer

The mousse , the prawn cake and the tuna steak ????????

Adnan Manjal

Excellent food. Go with the waiter 's suggestion. The Portuguese vino is excellent too. Highly recommended.

Epicurious

One of Lisbon's hotspots, açorda de mariscos , an unusual soup (made with seafood , eggs , garlic , and bread soaked with a cilantro-perfumed broth) is a Portuguese staple.

John Chang

Located upstairs. Use the stairs at the entrance of Time Out Market .

Edward

A 32 year old restaurant and still one of the top places in Lusbon. A must kto now place!

Boris A

The Açorda Real is incredible, and the theatricality of how the Chocolat Mousse is served is worth it alone (despite also being fantastic.)

Amazing food. Good price. Good service . Winners of a Michellin Star. The whole combo!

Tiago Quintas

Great service, must try the chocolat mousse (the best in the world).

Amazing food. Book a table, its better.

Nuno Esteves

Good service and location. Açorda was good, rabbit a bit lacking.

Salvador Avila-Bretts

Must have the decadent chocolate mousse !! Richest darkest chocolate mousse ever!

Howard T

Very disappointing. The veal and black pork was overcooked, almost unchewable. Also, the supposedly "famous" chocolate mouse is more like a ganache , I'm surprised they've got away with it for 30 years

Marlen Stahlhuth

The tuna steak

Salvador Avila-Bretts

So cute and civilized amidst the traditional chaos of bairro alto

CBM 

BBQ monkfish and prawn is sooo yummy

very turistic. In other words: expensive ! Didn't think it's worth it, the food it's just ok.

Luis Dias

good food, yes. Overpriced, also.

Fernando Fonseca

Don't miss the Oysters !

Fernando Fonseca

If you are a smoked, ask for the smokers room.

Bruno A

Quality focused, cool, not too much touristic , portuguese w/ a modern touch. I recommend

Fernanda Duarte

Carolina Almeida

Great oysters. Tasteless pataniscas de camarão . Açorda was okay. Good veal Papaçorda. Not impressed by the chocolate mousse .

Luciana Falcao

Excelente restaurante ! Tudo otimo principalmente a mousse de chocolate !

Fernanda Wanderley
