Cișmigiu is a lovely garden , or park , as some will say, with lots of flowers , a lake , ducks & more. It is a great place for a walk or for a short romantic date , and very close to the old city center.

Bring small children (ages 4 to 8) to play in the main playground . They'll love the swings , slides , and other things. My Johnny does. Also a bungee chair and trampoline - cheap but not free.

Give bread to the ducks and swans. The pond is on the Northwest side of the park . Don't give them crackers , potato chips , pop corn , pufuleti or sliced bread . The salt in those foods is bad for them.
