Probably the best Mexican food I've had. Carne asada is perfect seasoned and cooked. The verde has some kick to it, and the rojo is definitely on the spicy side. Can't wait to go back!

Best chicken enchilada lunch I’ve ever had!! And I’ve had many... I loved the salsa and the rice too. The little salad on the plate with sour cream , tomato & avocado was a PLUS!

I would have to say- this is one of the best,authentic , delicious Mexican spots in Sanford. So many options to chose from. My personal favorite is the steak ranchero .

With no Mexican food in Alaska its a must when visiting family in North Carolina Also had Cactus for the first time! ! I also ate Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas those were really delicious too.

I had a couple of shrimp tacos which were very good. I often have fajitas or quesadillas which are consistently good, as well . It's a regular lunch spot for me.

El Molcajete does an excellent job of catering to the American crowd while remaining true to its Mexican roots. An excellent place to enjoy real Mexican food !!!

This was my third trip dining here. I look forward to eating here whenever I'm in NC. Good flavors, good portions. Don't even bother with the other Mexican restaurants in Sanford.

The waitresses are nice, & extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The service is fast. The food is amazing! Totally worth a visit.

I use to love this place. Now, the salsa was ok and the tortillas are still homemade but super thin and tough and hard crispy on the outside. Their cheese was still the best in town .
