If you've ever been to a Natural History Museum in NY, London or Vienna, you're in for quite a disappointment. Not worth the money (I only went because I had the Malta Heritage Multisite Pass).
Not very large but interesting. Lot of birds and shells. And zombie kanguroo on the first floor!
Nothing special, save your time/money for a better museum and wander the streets of Mdina instead.
Don't go! Old and dusty... And small. Not worth the money.

Mdina is a must-visit when on Malta. It's very pictoresque and with plenty of opportunities for great photos as well as pleasant afternoon tea. Go to Fontanella tea rooms on the ramparts. - Guido Gybels
