A happening place with a great selection of desserts . Dine-in menu is average as are the prices. Advance booking is advisable if coming in a big group. Sit further in for a cosier ambiance.
Amazing matcha latte !! However the service is just average and the food and drinks are pricey (my drinks was rm 15.40) If you don’t mind about the price then it’s a great place to chill !
Tips: Make sure you know your table number, self service if you want to have your cake at The Canteen, washrooms are gender neutral, don't forget to check out Bon Ton Shop and the gallery upstairs
Very good concept, this place is not only good for food but atmosphere and artistic feel. Each separate section is unique. The food is great, the desserts are to die for and the drinks are wow. 10/10!
A heaven for cake/dessert lovers, go for the velvety smooth gula melaka creme brulee . Prawn salad is good too. Only lack of efficient service by the team.
Lemon cheese???? , Choc orange buttercream ???? , Tiramisu !❤️ Tasty desserts & longest shop I ever walked in???? Great environment that encourage ppl to communicate through board game , card game, crayon etc.
OMG the cakes , the cakes !! Had had the Pavlova and the Sacher Torte . Both were great, but everything else looked amazing too. The wine bar (DJ ) seems a cooler venue than the canteen (live coverband).
A western-style coffee house with a long list of breakfast , lunch or dinner menu . Coffee is good, I tried the omelette for breakfast and it was almost perfect. Has reliable WiFi .
Authentic and interesting. There's a quiet section and a live band section. Lots of beer and cake selection . Found the tiramisu and caramel cheese cake particularly good.
Great at any time of the day, coffee is good, the cake selection is amazing (with heart attack inducing portions) and the bar has live music and good selection of beers . If you're in town pay a visit!
Delicious cakes , very large choice, sometimes quite sweet though. Brand fruit loaf is amazing, sticky date pecan banana bread is great.
all-day breakfasts , lunches and dinners . Tiramisu, caramel cheese cake , coconut cake with lime curd , raspberry cake with pear , brandy fruit cake and tomato basil pie . Nutty Pie , caramel cheese cake
Really cool place. Heaps of seating, even for really big groups. Plenty to see (place is big) on every part of the wall. Cakes , food, tea , coffee and alcohol all served here.
Cakes especially chocolate cakes . Reserve if you are coming for tea . Artsy . Trendy . Great ambience. Huge area with many different areas to suit different tastes. Note: live music area allows smoking.
Has both hip n oriental design, cakes n confectionary fresh n tailored to Western taste, pol8te staff , winery , bar n live music , artsy vibe, hands down, my all time favorite cafe .
Variety of cakes ...not only Tiramisu & carrot cake nice...do try their Italian cream cake ...worth for the rich ingredient and portion ????
My all time fav cafe , nice ambiance, coffeee pretty good and great selection of cakes . Their Bakery and KopiC section is recommended. They hav pretty good wine selection at Vine & Single
Huge variety of cakes , price is RM10 and up each - but portions are big (usually share them with friends). Recommendations: carrot cake , tiramisu with kahlua . Go on Mon - Thu if want to avoid crowd
ambiance is very unique with the heritage house, there's a craft store upstairs as well . cafe is pretty crowded , quite a nice place to chill . https://t.co/BFuB0V3Qm9
Good variety of deserts . Coffee is good and the mushroom bruschetta breakfast is simple yet delicious. Ambience is lovely and doodle is possible. :)
Cake heaven!Must visit if you a cake lover.Variety choices of cake here.Tiramisu taste better when sharing with others cause it really too sweet!????????????So don't try to finish it yourself haha
Great place to just hang out (all day) in Penang, esp when it gets hot out (usual). The Tiramisu 's good. If you are deciding between the Cappuccino & Latte , go for the Latte . Shop goes on 4ever. Like!
We just try their tiramisu cake . A little bit sweet but nice. Their cake is in a very big portion . Nice place to chill and take photo.
Really cosy ambience and friendly staffs . Their tiramisu cake is by far one of the best I've ever tried! Portion is big, great for sharing. It's worth the price. Scrambled eggs were good too.
Consider it has the best location in town , variety of desert to choose from, plus the coffee it's actually pretty good. The only downfall is that the service. Seriously, even a snail is faster
Walk from one end to the other of this series of interconnected eateries -- interesting things to see. Wifi info conveniently provided on tables but inconveniently not available when I was there.
The fine dining is great. The waygu beef that is so tender that it melts in mouth. The cheft is from Australia. Great food n environment. A must visit!
Nice food and customer service! Love the ambience too! Thanks for keeping my baby's pacifier which I dropped it from my table, it definitely save my trip in Penang! ????????
Great coffee and cakes with lovely nostalgic vintage ambience. Check out photo op opportunities at the back of the cafe .
Great place to have fun and spend time with families and friends. The garden is awesome. The coffee and cakes are great too. I'm sure to come again on my next visit.
Despite of its fame, I personally don't really love their cakes so much. Tried Tiramisu , Passion fruit & Lime slice as well as dinner but they're over-rated, maybe because I prefer moist cake more.
I like the atmosphere. One end is a bar , the other is the restaurant . Try the tiramisu cake ! It's a very long building. Good for couple dating and meet up.
Bruschetta plate was excellent. Lovely smoked trout and duck rillettes on sliced baguette make for perfect small bites. I paired the dish with sparkling water.
The ambience is perfect, the deco is interesting..try the passionfruit butter cake , good stuff and the lemongrass ginger ale is really good! Favorite chill out place!
Tiramisu here is to die for! First try kefir, fermented soda infused with fruit , diff from kombucha . Relaxing yet exciting for the ambience
Yes this is the cake heaven. One must not missed if looking for some rare taste of cake . Kinda costly overall.
Old charm heaven for dessert lovers! Look for handsome server Sham who is helpful and pleasant.. Pineapple malt shake is the bomb!
Their cakes are super duper moist! Longest cafe ever and it’s very crowded . Try out their cakes and you’ll never forget it. Abit pricey tho.
Not to forget their Signature Tiramisu Cake . Was the best seller at all times ! ???????? Damn .. so so Delicious ! ????????
Tiramisu is excellent. BUT service is so repulsive, servers are so arrogant and will harrass their customers so that each person must order a minimum of one item each.wifi is also hopeless????????
Lovely and calm art space on the second floor in this trio of heritage houses. But I would avoid the throngs of visitors at the Kopi C cafe downstairs.
Breakfast Wrap of Omelette , Semi-dried Tomatoes , Eggplant Jam & Rocket is delicious. Quiche is great too. For something more sinful, try the Choc Peanut Butter homemade ice cream .
I guess I came here after peak hours - still busy but the service was fantastic. This place is filled with books , art , games and very well made food. Highly recommended.
If you're not Malaysian , this place probably have the best service . If you're a Malaysian, I will not suggest this place for you :)
❣️???? heaven here...famous for tiramisu cake but sugary...I prefer ????cake ❣️
Interesting interior decor and upbeat atmosphere, honest waitress , cakes looked beautiful however a bit too sweet for my liking. Had the pear and red wine cake , tiramisu , and walnut expresso cake
Contrary to many of the 4sq tips, I've had no prob with staff attitude each time I've been here. Food is pricey & hit-and-miss. Great space for the arts though, & generally nice vibe for hanging out.
CAKESSSS. Also they have an amazing looking homemade ice cream menu that I'll need to try!
Cake orgy is real. We couldn't resist the urge, went hard and did a couple of them. The chocolate was fudgey enough, passion fruit cheese frosting was perfect on the banana (cake ) and tiramisu zomg.
Good vide with authentic refurbished heritage houses. A wonderland of cakes . Coffee was average. The bar was great fun. Enjoyed my brief stopover.
Great environment :) awesome cake beverage & great hospitality from de staff too :) - Jaine Cheng
Selling a lot of pretty stuff from handmade crafts to postcards to scarves to jewellery to bags to books (no GST!) and even antique home deco/furniture! - Lee Sydney
Amazing coffee, amazing place. Give the peach blossom and green tea latte Mille Crepe a go, bang for buck! - Sew Lint
Very good environment as well as food. Very suitable to chill and chat with friends. - Zack Cy
Nice & clean mall.. Has good food & café options & the stores were pretty good. Would definitely recommend ppl to visit it.. - Mohd Asfiyak Md Nasir
The street art is really fabulous and now they even have some kind of night market here - Marco Azhar Reus
