Pulla French Toast was awesome. Almond latte was fantastic and stayed hot the whole time. Reindeer sausage was tasty and not greasy. Definitely recommend the entire experience.
The strawberry cake is yummy. You should definitely try a slice of that. Though the slice is a little big. Also try sitting outside and enjoy watching the urban life if the weather is nice!
OMG! This place is awesome! Super friendly service & yummy food! There have GF options for breads , pastries , & pancakes ! My friend and I split the Walnut/Veggie Burger & the Favorite Flat Bread Pizza !
Everything I have eaten has been delicious! Some entrees come with a side chosen by the chef daily, which is always tasty and fun.
If it's your first time try the house breakfast or the potato lefsa scramble not to mention a chocolate brownie
The pulla is amazing. So is the traditional Finnish breakfast . Not much else is very Finnish but I'll bet it's all just as delicious! Nami nami!
took Mom for dinner tonight. She had the Lefse scramble and loved it. I had the Finnish Beef Pasty. It was terrific. Love this place.
This is a small restaurant connected to Dunn brothers. Not a lot of seating options. But their walnut burger is great!
I've had the pizza , muffins and scones here. All were very good. Can't wait to go back and try more.
The consolidated layout is great but one counter means you have to wait for awhile to get something simple when it's busy.
The Famous Walnut Burger is delicious! The wait might be a little long but it's worth it :)
A great breakfast spot . Grab some eggs and sausage . Or just a pastry . The muffins are really great here!
Delicious omelette with braised pork , and the Almond crispers are great!
Pasties are the highlight of the menu. They're huge though, be warned.
Limited seating on the weekends, but the Pulla French toast makes it worth the wait!
Unique atmosphere with great baked items .
Get the almond kringler or GTFO.
Try the quiche , especially salmon and asparagus .
Even if you get NOTHING else...get the toast . Trust me. One dollar. Do it.
I had the salmon lefsa , which was mighty tasty.
Best Scandinavian food in Minnesota!
Try the beef pastry - delicious!
Highly recommend the Walnut Burger !
They look like good Bloody Mary's !
There's very little food here that is actually Finnish. That being said, the pulla french toast is disturbingly delicious.
I came inside to eat breakfast right when it opened. The cook doesn't come in until later. How was I supposed to know? I waited and ate my breakfast . I won't be back!
Food is excellent! Butternut squash soup is amazing!
I recco the turtle muffin . Chocolate , caramel , and, uh, more chocolate (chips ). It's a meal.
The quiche was very good!
On Mpls St Paul's list of Insider Eats for a Scandinavian Breakfast
They hired a nice kid, so I've had less interaction with the grumpy ladies.
Great place to grab a beer .
Have to try the raspberry sandwhich cookies !! Best cookies over
A MUST have is the "Lohi" (salmon ) Lefse!
The pancakes are a must.
The house breakfast is to DIE FOR
A must have is the ham and cheese quiche !!
Very thoughtful!
The vegetarian omelette is the way to go
Make sure and try the carrot ginger soup !
Gotta try the House breakfast with Kielbasa and eggs over easy . Mmmmm
Classic breakfast is fabulous!!
Food was so-so and the two ladies were not very nice. Heard the same from another person after the fact. Not that hard to be pleasant in a customer dependent business.
Lefse scramble w/ham & veggies
Oh, and get the quiche !
House breakfast is awesome
Get a falafel and fries, they are delicious! And their fries are made from potatoes they cut and cook in the restaurant - you can watch them do it! So cool. - Hanna
All of the soups are delicious. And you can't beat the raspberry cream tort. - Heidi Hakseth
We love it every time we come! Eclectic decor with charming urban garden. Decent cup if joe too stop during your delicious breakfast. - Ricki Groskreutz
If you need an unusual title or just want to support independent bookstores, talk to Hans. He'll order your book and they'll call when it arrives. Great service and friendly staff! - Dave Healy
This is my favorite little market to shop at. The meat section is amazing. Delicious cuts at great prices. This is where I buy all of my meat now. - Austin Eder
