Amazing colonial style hotel . A little slice of the old far East with old Citroën limousines parked out front and French speaking bell boys.
This is one of if not the best hotel I have stayed in of the 53 countries I have visited. They have blended the past and today wonderfully . Hate to leave #vietnam # hotels
In October/November take one of the outdoor tables to enjoy the mild weather and watch the world go by - especially the wedding parties !!
Good view , good food, a little bit hot when in summer.
Really really good dirty martinis (& manhattans ) - don't just stick to the 5 cocktails on the menu!

Great little hotel just round the corner from it's legendary sister metropole Sofitel.Just 5 mins walk to the south of old quarter lake. Breakfast is good too! Will be back. - Ting
One of the best we ever stayed in. Fantastic atmosphere. Great pool, very friendly staff. We overslept (jetlag) and missed breakfast: they just sent 2 trolleys with delightful food to our room. Top! - Thijs van Schadewijk
