This place is a Monroe County institution. Been going here since my college days for great, reasonably-priced food. It is busy for breakfast and from 4 on, on Friday (and many weeknights)--early birds
Great local diner/family restaurant in an historic coal tower on the Erie Canal . Order the potato pancakes !
Great family restaurant !! Great Burgers ! And awesome specials like potato pancakes on the weekends!!
The best diner in Rochester ! The food is consistently great and they have lots of daily specials . Cash only , but they do have an ATM .
Love coming here for an easy and quick dinner . Very casual ...and of course, delicious.
One of the best breakfast diners there is.. But get there before 9 to avoid a long wait on sat or sun and bring cash!
Get a burger and a canal view seat, and you're good to go.
The pumpkin soup with homemade whipped cream is amazing. Excellent service .
Great service. Breakfast place.
Sandwiches , ice cream , FISH FRY
Service and food are unexceptional. Don't sit within 20 feet of the men's room. Strong urinal smell.
Be sure to bring cash, they don't accept credit cards.
If you are a fan of tuna melts , this is a great place to get one.
Great family restaurant !
Great burgers !!
scrambled eggs are fabulous :)
One of the best Turkey Reubens in Rochester .
Good food but flimsy bacon for breakfast
Ride the Barge . Do ittt. Savor the flavor.
Can't go wrong with their breakfast or lunch offerings. It can get busy at peak hours - Ronald Healey
Combined with a walk or bike ride on the canal is perfect! Try the cookie dough or burnt marshmallow (no it isn't really burnt!) ice cream! They also sell cartons of ice cream, baked goods, and more! - Sydney DeVore
Great little neighborhood of shops. I miss bill wahls ice cream. - Mike Barker
