Its all about the summer for this square, beer gardens sprout like spring leaves and quickly fill with people perfecting the art of watching the world go by

A very long time ago, Līvu Square was the site of the Riga River - in honour of which the city of Riga was named. Find also a Live Riga info centre here!

Take a look around - to the buildings next to the square, e.g. The Large and Small Guild Houses (craftsmen unions) erected in 1854-66, both Gothic style.

Enjoy summer, old town scenery and great food in Double Coffee terrace :)

Better go further to Dome square, gluhwein there is approx. twice cheaper. Same for souveniers

Симпатичная, всегда оживленная площадь . Можно посидеть на скамейках с кофе из Narvesen и послушать живую музыку из находящихся тут кафешек.

Очень уютно и красиво, много русских, а местные добрые и приветливые, многие понимают язык .

Глинтвейн на площади Рижкой катедрали в полтора-два раза дешевле чем тут (2,5 лата против 1,5), а идти до нее всего метров 200 :))

Симпатичная площадь ,где можно отдохнуть на скамейке или поесть в одном из многочисленных ресторанов вокруг
