Very good attentive service in this French restaurant near Barbican and Farrington in London. Food was very good too, #verygoodservice
A Smithfield institution hidden away in a great setting. Properly French. Wine list is good value but the food is less so, and sea bass/duck confit are uninspiring menu choices.
The best French restaurant in London by far! Jazz nights and classical music nights are the best :)
The vegetarian option is only mushroom & polenta . I wasn't impressed & barely ate it. Shame as ambience & rustic decor are spot on.
Fantastic food and unbelievable location...it's like you're actually in Paris!
Classical french hidden away in a mew. However food was unsurprising and average
Worse restaurant in London in 14 years. And incredibly expensive . £70 for rubbish food. A tourist trap without tourists !
Fantastic place - go upstairs
Nice environment but definitely overpriced
Fish soup is an amazing "starter" (pretty substantial). Croutons , cheese , an aniseed aromatic bisque style broth.
Not as french as it used to be
The duck burger is a must. Make sure to get the Deluxe version with Foie Gras and caramelised onions - Odo
Beautiful views from the rooftop bar. You can't book but it's worth getting there early. Wonderful service, very accommodating... - Kate * Freshly Made Films
Service is outstanding. Tucked away in the basement, the decor of the place is what I can only describe as tastefully and deliberately tacky. Great value fixed prices menus, and a good cocktail menu. - Ankur Banerjee
