We left a box of sidewalk chalk for the kids. Late in the day, put them in the flip top thing in the sand pit, to protect them from rain.

This is a great place for a stroll and a wonderful place to catch the ferry too. Basketball courts looked pretty full with lots of pickup games and a nice playground for the kids. - Garry Tan
