Not going to be the uphill tough hiking at Crowders, but you can definitely get 4-5 miles in of beautiful scenery . I've only hiked the trails , but it was perfect for the kids- BRING SNACKS AND WATER!
James Latta purchased 100 acres in 1799 & eventually owned more than 700 acres, much of which was planted in cotton. In 1975, Latta Place, Inc., deeded the house and land to Mecklenburg County .
