Go early to avoid crowds. Don't bother going to the actual falls, drought hit it hard. Instead go to the top of the falls and use it as a starting point for the Santa Anita Canyon hike .
The waterfall isnt running much this time of year, but the air is fresh and you can get a descent workout with the kiddos.
