The Yellow Rose is very good. The views are awesome especially when weather cooperates. The lightening almost chased us away, but the Bacardi 151 increased bravery sufficiently. #emptynestweek

Get a room that faces the street. If you get a courtyard facing room, you will hear all the folks downstairs. If that happens, you can turn the fan on constant to help drown the noise out.
ETC Theatre is right across the street and it's just a few blocks from The Grand 1894 Opera House. You can occassionally run into the stars who are performing at The Grand too.

Don't trust the posted hours or the front desk to tell you when the bar is open. It never opened. We were told they'd just switched over to winter hours, then they said it was too cold (55 degrees!).
