For me one the best beaches in Zakynthos ! Not overcrowded! Parasol and 2 seats for 10€.

One of the best beaches of the island ! Better in the morning before 11:00 and after 18:00 to avoid the crowd. Buy water from the shops just before the beach . Own umbrellas allowed very close to sea.

The protection of this beach by the National Marine Park of Zakynthos . They keep the beach clean all the year and are in control of the amount of sunbeds , no speed boats and disturbing music .

Gerakas is the famous turtle nesting beach .its a quiet sandy beach and has umbrellas.also there are restaurants and snack bars just 100-150 meters from the beach .

So this is a good option if you want to enjoy the sandy beach with no music and party. No food is available beside the people who bring fruits for 3€. You can walk into the water for few 100m.

Don't omit to visit the "lunar" eroded mud cliffs located at the western end of the beach . There is also a dirt road to view the "lunar" landscape from above.

After 5pm there are considerably fewer people on the beach . By 8.30pm however all visitors are asked to leave, as this is a nesting area for the endangered Caretta Caretta sea turtles .

This looks like a normal beach , but you must try living together the endangered sea turtle Caretta Caretta .. We should leave the beach as we find it!

Nice beach . Unfortunately for non-smoker family it was always a challenge to avoid those smoking without consideration. Divided sections would be perfect.

The beach is ok, my son (3y)loved it! But, you pay 10 euros for two sunbeds and no receipt!If the money went to the care of the turtles I wouldn't mind at all, but no.So, let the beach 2 the turtles !

Amazing beach . If u want to find a sunbed u have to go really early.

If you are lucky, you can witness the hatching of a turtle egg and the journey of the baby to the sea!

Another nesting beach of careta-careta turtle but there is no infrastructure (there are sunbeds but no WC and no bars ) and the beach itself is not clean enough

Remember to flatten your sandcastles at the end of the day so that the newborn turtles can get to the sea easily

Meravigliosa. Spiaggia finissima e mare cristallino . Facile veder nascere qualche tartarughina. A mio parere la più bella spiaggia di Zante.

Την λατρέψαμε!! Καθαρά νερά με υπέροχο χρώμα και άμμο με άργιλο για κούρα ομορφιάς! Προσοχή στις φωλιές με τα αβγά των χελωνών.

Πολύ ωραία παραλία!Δεν βρίσκεις αμέσως να κάτσεις κι αν βρείς δεν προλαβαινεις να στρωσεις πετσετα κι ερχεται ο κυριουλης να παρει τα 8€.Σιγα κυριε,θα πληρωσουμε!πεντακαθαρα νερα !

Δεν υπάρχουν θαλάσσια αθλήματα και μπαρ σε αυτή την παραλία για την προστασία της χελώνας . Αυτό έχει βοηθήσει την παραλία να διατηρεί ακόμα και σήμερα την φυσική της ομορφιά.

Από τις ομορφότερες παραλίες του νησιού με περιορισμένο ωράριο επίσκεψης.

αμμώδης παραλία στην οποία γεννά τα αυγά της η θαλάσσια χελώνα Καρέτα Καρέτα . Η παραλία του Γέρακα προστατεύεται από το Θαλάσσιο πάρκο της Ζακύνθου.

Αξιζει μια επισκεψη.πληροφοριακα σετ 2 ξαπλωστρες 10 ευρω.φαγητο,νερο απο τα μαγαζακια πριν τη παραλια.

Φοβερή παραλία !!! Πεντακάθαρα νερά και χρυσαφένια αμμουδιά!!! Πραγματικά πανέμορφη!!!! Τη λατρεύω!!!

Большой хороший песчаный пляж , главное не подходить к "гнездам" черепах . Пляж под охраной, без кафе

Охранная зона. Поэтому отсутствуют развлечения на берегу и воде. Предупреждают о запрете заходить дальше 3-5 м от кромки воды (кладки черепашьих яиц ). Купаться можно. Туалета нет. Рядом turtle center.

Υπεροχη νοτιοδυτικη παραλια 5€ !!! η ξαπλωστρα με Κηθ Ριτσαρντ

Пляж без душа и туалета , 2 лежака - 10€, зато совсем рядом кладки черепашьих яиц , у которых свои домики , подходить и трогать руками ничего нельзя!
