Amazing scones (and food) here! I've been patronizing Merritt's since the 80's and wish the service was like it used to be, but it's still good eats and awesome music !

Great service & awesome home cooked food ! Love the steak fried steak (comes with a scone too). Scones are Utah scones , not UK scones .

If you like sausage & egg breakfast sandwiches , the Biscuit Deluxe is basically that sandwich exploded 4 times its natural and safe size.

Order the Indian Taco ! It's the best one I've ever had served outside of a reservation . I grew up on the rez, and can vouch that they rock

The scones are not the "British scones " you might know, but rather are "Utah scones ", similar to frybread, funnel cake , or elephant ears, depending on what topping you get.

Not as grungy as it used to be but still qualifies as a dive. Dutch babies are fabulous & be sure 2 bring a few dollars for the juke box . Definitely popular for families & teens but not from the food.

Never order the claim strips. WAY overcooked and most were the extra pieces. I ate maybe 1/2, and gave up.

Place has gone downhill. Order mistakes (4 all together) long wait when it wasn't busy. Burnt food. This place is past its prime.
