Tonnarelli al'astice (pasta with lobster ) highly recommended. Bring cash: despite the credit card signs on the window, they only take cash (€72 for lunch for 2... a bit pricey ).
One of my favorite restaurants in Rome . Good food, cheerful waiters and very reasonable prices. This is the Rome I love.
Duck w berries were good and i really enjoyed their house wine as well . Second dishes are mostly better than pasta .

Quiet , romantic restaurant in a narrow ancient street downtown Rome. Italian specialties , homemade bread , pasta , meat, fish and delicious desserts , good wines . Polite staff .
If you enjoy overwrought menu descriptions, underflavored food, servers who default to English, and large groups of drunk undergraduates, then enjoy. But for Italian food , go elsewhere.
