Kaoh mun Kai, curry puffs , pork noodle soup and Thai ice tea - all delicious and a must. You could pass on the chicken wings . Love the unique atypical dishes #Thai #foodie #murrayhill #nomnom #nyc
Shame on vitacoco and zico. The real coco water is made in this house. Get their fresh "coconut juice ". It's pure coconut water with tender chunks of young coconut meat.
Best Isan Thai food in Midtown E. Stars are Ground Chicken w/ Fried Egg , basil , garlic , & chili over rice ; Egg noodle soup w/ roasted pork , lump crab meat , & yu choy + Crispy pork belly salad .
I would start with the street step dishes on the menu. The spicy ground pork over rice and egg Kra prow khai dao was great. A simple yet effective dish. The duck over rice was a great find as well .
I always order their apetizer sampler. This place has the best curry puffs ! Yum! All o the dishes are great! Our favorite is the massaman curry and the pad thai !
Pad Kee-Mao, Massaman curry , & Crab Meat Fried Rice , & (2) Spring rolls app are okay. No to frozen & reheated Edamame & (heavily fish-sauced) Vegetable soup apps.
Order Kaoh Moo Dang (roast pork , sweet sausage and crispy pork over rice ) to try out 3 styles of meats. Hints of five spice.
I order dinner from Lan Larb at least once if not twice a week. Pad kee mao , basil sauce , and tom kha are the standouts, but I have never been disappointed by anything I've ordered!
Not the greatest. If you're in the market for some good quality and very affordable Northern Thai , you're better off checking out Pye Boat Noodle on 2nd Ave in the Upper East Side.
The lunch specials come with a soup , starter and a meal and are affordably priced . Authentic Northern Thai choices.
Just what you should expect from a small local Thai restaurant : high quality food at an affordable . A good place to go if you're on a budget.
Order the chicken larb with your lunch special for a tangy and refreshing taste. Ours was not spicy .
Awesome lunch specials ! Red curry chicken in coconut milk was great
The soup that comes with the lunch special has a very flavorful broth and contains a mix of vegetables .
Another good appetizer is the Moo Dadd Diew (fried marinated pork ) served with a side of Sriracha sauce .
Authentic dishes but note to ask for less fish sauce in prep.
The chicken pad Thai was quite good. About the same value as nearby options like viv or ruay Thai
You may not like the Ba Mee Poo Moo Dang if you don't like fishy tasting crab meat .
Great lunch deals ! Duck on rice was delicious!
Excellent value for lunch special - 27 for two people
Very fan!! Red curry is delicious!
Crispy whole snapper is top notch 👍
The Moo Ping Grilled Pork (grilled marinated pork on skewer with Thai spicy sauce ) comes with enough to share for two. Like the street foods in Thailand and delicious.
The larb has some really good kick!
Great pad thai
Nothing here is spicy until you ask for the extra spicy seasoning. Then, everything is very, very real.
The crispy red snapper never disappoints!
Great that salad
Panang Curry 🍛
Wrong restaurant - we’re at Chef Huang!!
This is a stand out dish. Order the Kra Prow Khai Dao (minced chicken with basil , garlic , chili , topped with a fried egg )
didn’t like the basil sauce stir fry , which was not nearly as spicy as advertised
No more isan sausage ... 😭😭😭
Pineapple fried rice love it! Also chef specialties also great. - Twin Springle
Crispy spring rolls come as four thinly rolled w/ dipping sauce. Good for sharing. - John Paterakis
Finally another super high quality Thai offering! Calamari is lightly fried and delicious. Crab fried rice rivals Uncle Boons - AmateurConcierge
Clean, not overly crowded but large theater. Easy walk to nearby dinner spots and staff is nice. - Amanda Ponzo
Surprisingly good spot in frat bro Murray Hill. Long and excellent tap beer list, was relatively calm at 5 on a Thursday. If you work or live in the area, worth a visit - Avin Narasimhan
Great value, huge selection, friendly staff - but can get very busy - Irmas happen that your check out line runs through the whole store - John
