We love Tweetsie Railroad! We visit at least a couple times a year. Ghost Train and the fireworks at the Fourth of July are not to be missed!
We all had a blast, plenty to do for our 6 and 3 year old. If we lived closer I'd get a season pass because we only explored maybe 1/3 of the park in 6 hours. It's good old fashioned fun.
This place was one of my favorite places to go as a child. Be sure to check out all of the fair rides and the train ride ! Try to go around halloween so you can ride the ghost train !!
Worked here for years, it's great!!. Don't wait till 6pm to buy your things, use package pickup and buy things you like early! Saves so many parents stress.
Really nice staff and friendly atmosphere ! Like some others said, take plenty of money, but we were on a budget and still enjoyed ourselves! there is a lot to do!!
Enjoyed the visit. Price was steep for the lack of things to do. Park would have been better for little kids. Not a lot of attractions for adults and teens.
Fun amusement park themed off the Tweetsie Railroad. Thomas the Tank Engine can be seen on special occasions . Most shops cash only .
We loved the Thomas Ride at Christmas and the theme Park ride 2 years back. Wonderful memories for all!
Someone pushed the conductor off the train to his death! I sleuthed he was murdered by the head of the local historical society, not a jealous lover as all initially suspected.
Also eat at feed n seed and sit upstairs near the window, don't wear flip flops and sit on 3rd train car! ????
Buy the souvenir cup and save money on cheaper refills all day. Also, sit on the right side of one of the first cars on the train to see the show better.
Made our South's Best List! In addition to the train and shows, try one of the 13 theme-park rides. Read more
Niece and nephews loved this place. Good family fun. Ride the chair lift.
Went for the fireworks . They were good but not great. Lots of traffic getting out. There was lots of free parking outside the park .
sit in one of the first couple cars for the train ride or you'll have a hard time viewing the skit
All wonderful
Get here early...the train takes a long time to start; kids will become irate.
You HAVE to come to the Ghost Train in October!!!!!
Train show seen best from middle car, #3.
Make sure to take the chairlift up the mountain to ride the Tweetsie Twister .
This is a great place to spend the day with your kids! Tickets aren't too pricey , either! Be sure to ride the train around the mountain ! ❤️????
Be a kid at heart on the train .
Don't twist to much on The Tornado, you might get sick.
TRY THE TWISTER
Take pleny of money
