At this authentic Mexican spot you can watch as your tortillas are made fresh right in front of you. The pozole and pork tamales are clear winners.
This really is a great place. Gets busy because of that. The food is super good, the staff is really nice and the ambiance? Like I said this really is a great place. You should go there!!!
Georgetown's esteemed and very popular Fonda La Catrina is a great place to get a weekend breakfast . Come early for a table and enjoy enchiladas mole poblano con huevos to jumpstart your day. Read more
OH MY GOD!!! It's seriously my new favorite Mexican restaurant ! Food was so so good, the atmosphere was phenomenal and the staff - simply awesome!! Love this place!
This Georgetown semi-newcomer is the place to go to watch your tortillas made fresh right in front of you. The pozole and pork tamales are clear winners. [Eater 38 Member]
Everything was delicious! The chips and salsa were delicious and the chicken mole enchiladas were some of the best I've had. Long wait to get in though, super popular.
Taco lovers should get the Painted Hills beef/green pepper/onion/bacon/avocado Alambre creation. Their specialty el Jimador tequila Fresca w/muddled cilantro , serrano chili & pineapple is also great. Read more
Some of the best Mexican food in Seattle and definitely worth the trip. Brunch is always great and a really nice selection of signature cocktails . Highly recommended
Come for happy hour (3 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday) for sunshine and cocktails on the back patio .
Incredible mezcal list. Damn good chips & guacamole . Almost everything gluten free , and easy to also be dairy free or vegetarian . Always delicious! Excellent bar !
In a warehouse space befitting for Santa Fe's Railyard District but tucked on Airport Way, this Georgetown cantina serves up fresh Mexican eats. Save room for dessert and enjoy their flan de cajeta. Read more
Since it's not on Cap Hill , Queen Anne or Ballard, people overlook this gem in Georgetown. Too bad - handcrafted traditional Mexican cuisine , and house made tortillas . Try the ribs and eggs , or pozole
Food/drinks is delicious, looks authentic ! Service always friendly and efficient. House is always busy, but there's lot of sitting places.
The tacos are not presented in a way you could eat them with your hands but rather 3 tortillas in a plate smothered in chicken . Odd. Salad is the mixed greens from Whole Foods.
Cochinita pibil and tortilla soup were excellent!! Order a side of mole !! I'd skip the ceviche next time.
The enchiladas with mole sauce and mushrooms were very good. The poblano tacos were good. I wish the mango margarita had real mango in it.
Fun and super friendly staff . Sit at the kitchen bar and watch them make tortillas from scratch. The pozole is a must!
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo here or just come on down any time. New Georgetown cantina offers authentic Mexican cuisine . Their mole poblano enchiladas de pollo is the best in town and soul-satisfying. Read more
Good Mexican food in Seattle , has a lot of real traditional Mexican dishes in their menu, good place for getting cocktails
I've been a couple of times but this was the most mediocre, food wise, visit so far. Especially for the price, I really expected better. Lastly it was FREEZING as they opened their sliding patio door.
Come for the sunset ! Fonda La Catrina is set above the hill and the perfect place for sunset margaritas !
Tacos were amazing (I had the grass-fed beef ), and the tortilla chips were unreal... clearly made in-house!
Nothing beats the outdoor seating area , though note that the neighborhood is in the flight path of Boeing Field , so it can get noisy each time a plane goes overhead.
Yummy tex mex fusion style very very busy so go there and make sure you are patient and have time to wait not good for lunch hour
Evenings and weekends can get busy. Picture menus would help because acoustics are loud and sometimes orders get lost in translation or just lost. Patience required for spotty service and good food. Read more
Excellent Mexican food made with quality fresh ingredients . You'll leave full but not with gut-bomb.
Everything is amazing. Alhambra tacos rock. The bartenders make great and not too sweet margaritas .
Try the jalapeño margarita it is awesome. The food is the best in the northwest
Fundido quest is great. Mole enchiladas are good too. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Everything - I especially love their homemade tortillas , and house margaritas . Sadly, can skip the guac though - I've had better.
Loved the tortilla soup with chicken : generous with the chicken and avocado and the broth is yummy.
Mole Enchiladas are awesome at Fonda La Catrina!
Margaritas are quite boozy and excellent!
The chili infused tequila house drinks and happy hour ! Food is great!
Love this place! The tamales and enchiladas are delicious.
Great totopos. Amazing mole . Basically fantastic Mexican food .
Try the enchiladas with mole sauce !
Mark Fuller , chef of Ma'ono Fried Chicken & Whiskey , eats here on his nights off. He loves the Pozole . Read more
Fast, friendly service , though seems like there’s usually a wait.
There was hair in the rice and beans like a small wad of it and even the server was shaken up. Basically, I was in love and now I say no beans no rice !
Great mole enchiladas ! Very filling and tasty
The best Mexican food in Seattle
Tacos de carne asada and the pepino margarita ftw!
Try red chilaquiles with carne asada , are awesome!!!????
Have the house margarita and ask for it spicy .
Amazing! Mesmerized by the woman making tortillas .
Brunch of enchiladas and a torta !
Margaritas , plain and simple.
It's loud , so if you have trouble hearing, sit next to each other at the bar or the window seating .
Happy Hour 3-6pm. $5 Margaritas $1 off beer . Open Tuesday to Saturday.
Delicious finger food & cocktails. Great rooftop for some relaxed drinks. - J
