Guides always recommend nishin/herring soba in Kyoto and Matsuba has been around a long time so I kind of expected more. The restaurant is old fashioned/Showa retro and the soba good but not great.
On week days, last order 9pm and close at 9:30pm

本店 맞은편에 北店 도 위치하고 있습니다. 본점에 자리가 없거나 휴무인 날 찾아가면 도움이 될 듯 하네요. As of 2014/11, にしんそば (니신소바) ¥1,250 (소비세 별도)
『王道を往く』にしんそば を食事。値段は1300円 +税込だったか。蕎麦 は色が薄目。鰊の味付けはよくサイズも良い感じ。スープ との相性も良かった。ビール と合わせると更に良いかも 。。。？

교토의 명물인 니신(청어) 소바 전문점 소혼케 니신소바 마츠바(総本家にしんそば松葉)는 한큐가와라마치역에서 기온 방면으로 도보로 5~10분 걷다보면 사거리에 있다. 게이한 기온시조역을 이용하면 6호 계단으로 나오면 바로 있다.

교토가 원조라고하는 청어소바가 유명한 소바집. 주문할땐 니신소바 또는 메뉴판 맨앞에보면 있음.
初夏から神無月まで冷し鰊おろし蕎麦 がある
予算は2000円 あれば問題なし。2000円 でにしんそば +天ぷら 1品+鮭 ごはん の組み合わせができます。にしんそば 単品で1000円 くらいだったかな。
