It has had a big role in helping to kickstart the coffee scene in Paris. It stocks & roasts coffee from 31 countries . The baristas are experienced. The lounge is decorated like a comfy living room.
Unlike all the other new wave cafés in Paris, this place actually feels authentically French. That's because they've been around for ages - they were the first place of their kind to open in Paris!
You'd expect coffee (flat white is on the large side here) to be this good from a roastery but the three-layered cheesecake with a toffee layer sitting just above the crust is to die for.
The year have a ton of options and they're not overpriced! They've got a great café du jour every day (V60 as well ). latte glacés as well . Grab a seat and watch the coffee magic
Wide selection of coffees . Big and tasty cafe latte and beautiful drip coffee from the Hario V60 . Friendly staff !
In Le Marais, near Pont Marie, a nice place where you can chose your fresh brewed coffee for home or just enjoy the coffee of the day among other coffee connoisseurs...
The cafe is beautiful and the coffee is delicious, and the owner of the shop was an ambassador in the state of Quwatmala, so the coffee they have is delicious, and they have coffee courses
Impressive coffee selection! Their flat white is 👌 And super fun staff :) gogogogo!
Incredible matcha cheesecake- worth the €5.5
A true place for parisien and global coffee lovers. There's V60 filter coffee for 6.5 euros and café du jour (espresso ) for 1.8 euros. The beans sold in the front shop range from 7 to 15 euros/ 250gr.
The place and staff were friendly and lovely. Hands down, they have the best flat white in town
such a nice location with attentive baristas and nice decor/interior and most importantly, nice (even if overpriced) coffee . merci beaucoup a frederic pour le chocolat !!
Great flat white coffee .. Great place to work with very comfortable jute seatings
This place has a bit of a character inside but I mostly enjoyed sitting on the street’s side tables, looking towards the river . Many coffee varieties to select from and some decent deserts .
Nice coffee shop ,with good location, excellent service and atmosphere, espresso ,filter coffee were delicious, free WiFi,they roast the coffee beans
This pioneering café is at the forefront of artisan coffee making in Paris, attention is paid to every espresso—made using La Marzocco GS3, F80 and Strada... More in Paris: Coffee Guide app. Read more
By far my favourite coffee shop in Paris. They roast all their own coffee and the baristas know what they are doing!
Where you can find third wave coffee . One of my besties. Itried Anduras on v-60 it was great .
Cozy coffee shop with excellent service and atmosphere, you can by fresh coffee beans here as well
The coffee here is excellent. Got the flat white and it's amazing!
A quiet and cosy spot to get a little work done. Pleased to see there was quite a lot of seating available. Oh yeah, and the coffee 's amazing.
Lovely folks, an inviting cozy spot that offers splendid coffee . AND GLORIA IS VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THE NO BLEND RULE!
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff , and very helpful and knowledgable about your coffee ! Definitely a must go place for caffeine junkies like me!
Great coffee selections, and lots of space indoors to sit. Try the cold drip
Nice coffee spot . Cold filtered coffee is nice and pastries are good. Friendly staff
Coffee roast in-house, smell is fantastic with an amazing looking roasting machine!! Coffee is nice but very strong compared to UK speciality coffee . Small cafe attached, but food selection not great.
Pretty sweet place for coffee , just off the tourist hart of town . It's bigger than it looks, and their selection of coffe is even bigger.
Good flat whites , nice atmosphere where you don't feel pressured to leave and can read a book . The soup de jour was also tasty!
Coffee was excellent, service was fairly poor. If you're looking for an atypical Parisian coffee shop , this isn't it - although the coffee is the best I've had here so far.
Excellent espresso . Occasionally the service is very slow, but it is compensated by the quality of the coffee and the pleasant atmosphere .
Very good coffee shop , excellent espresso and atmosphere
It was a pleasure to know the Caféothèque. Little prices for such a good coffee , quite wide range of choices, friendly people.
1000 coffees from 68 countries . The after coffee chocolate nut given is awesome. Super local; you will see locals on laptops working / hanging out.
Great experience...it is very rare to experience similar experince in other cafés
Great coffee and ambience. I napped after my noisette. This was not intended but would do it again. Great place.
Really good V60 coffee , perfect for when you want a break from all the espresso
Though the flat whites are a little expensive (€5,80), they are worth it.
Awesome cappuccino . Quite a few seats as long as everybody makes room
Incredibly sour and underextracted espresso but ok microfoam.Mediocre pain au chocolat , better than a Berlin avg but feels like supermarket quality compared to the average Boulangerie.
Big sprawling coffee shop selling a variety of beans and serving third wave coffee . Nice to hang out though it's pricey with slow service
The best place to get a flat white , sit by the window and watch people pass by.
Best flat white I had while in Paris.
It's hard to find proper coffee in Paris, so this is a good place to visit. Excellent coffee an delicious ice cream !
Perfect espresso and judging by my wifes facial expressions the cheese cake was great!
great coffee slow service. best place to chill . slightly overpriced but oh well its paris
Cute cafe in the heart of Paris. Cozy seating , great coffee , and friendly staff
Coffee and coffee beans. A bit on the expensive side, but cute place.
Worthwhile espresso in this somewhat lost-in-time (60s?) coffee cornucopia.
A huge coffee shop (for a third wave) with around 20 different beans for sale.
A gem at the heart of Paris. Other shops that serve their coffee at a %50 higher price should be ashamed.
Cute coffee shop in the 10th. Few seated places. Awesome coffee from different roasters (Has Bean, Belleville, etc). Take it to go and stroll along Canal Saint Martin. - Jean-Francois Frenette
Great design, great atmosphere and of course - great coffee. Food is good but the patisserie - not so much. - Noa Berger
Really beautiful to see when you're in Paris. Nice cafés and restaurants around as well! - Melody Vroom
The falafel lives up to the hype. Come early to avoid disappointment! Try the Macabee beer to wash it down :) - Phil Nom
I love this department store! Broad choice of brands! For the clothes it only sells womenswear (menswear is in another building). You can also get stationary, books and homeware! - Alex Curiel
