I den intima teaterlokalen i hörnet av Wallingatan och Västmannagatan började man driva teaterverksamhet redan 1918 under namnet Pallasteatern. Bland annat var skådespelargiganten Thor Modéen en del av den fasta ensemblen mellan 1920 och 1922.
