The best place in yosemite park ..dont miss this and its the best at sunset time...fabulous place for star gazing in the night and camping as well

About 45 mins to drive up here from the highway. You can also take a bus from Visitor Center to here for 30(?) bucks, which is a convenient way to do some one-way hikes such as Panorama trail .

It's such a beautiful view point! You have great view to Half Dome and. Parking can be tricky during the busiest seasons. A LOT of bees when we were here in September, annoying!

From Yosemite falls to your left to Half Dome and Nevada Falls on the right, a spring trip to Glacier Point on the spring weekend the road opened did not disappoint.

Very touristic (you can go by car all the way up) but cool anyway, and well worth the trip.

Wake up and go early to avoid tourist buses or better yet hike there via Four Mile Trail . You can see 1/4th of Yosemite from up there.

Best time for taking pictures is in the afternoon and sunset . At the morning it is not recommended, if you wanna take best photos :-).

Amazing/breathtaking views . One of the best point view in yosemite national park. Becareful when u drive up here elevation of 7214 feet. ;P

Can't beat the sunsets here. Takes a while to drive up and arrive at least 30 minutes early to grab a good spot.

Definitely worth a visit. If you have the time and energy, I recommend hiking the Four-Mile trail to Glacier Point!

Go here on a summer full moon and capture spectacular images illuminated only by moon light. Don't forget your tripod as you'll need to expose for several minutes.

Want it entirely to yourself? Go at night. As long as the moon is out, it is incredible.

If you come to Yosemite natural park don't miss this out

It's adds quite a few miles and you have to drive out and back by the same road . But, if you miss Glacier Point you will kick yourself! This has to be one of the most spectacular views in the world.

The view is well worth the 30 min drive from the valley

Best time to hike here is when the road is closed.

Pictures don't do the views up here any justice. You have to come up and experience it for yourself!

(Closed in winter.) Don't be put off by the round trip. At the end of this road is what IMHO is one of the most superb views in the world.
