Don't let the outside fool you. The food here is great. The thin cut fries are the closest rival to McDonald's. The Mac & Cheese is amazing as is the Tavern burger .

Start with the wings which were amazing! Then for all the simple folks the grilled cheese on wheat with steak fries is a perfect entree. For a more robust meal try the tavern burger with truffle mayo .

This is the best beer garden I've been to in the USA. It's a gem in otherwise mundane NJ. Definitely don't miss this spot. The service and location are great. And the food is excellent. Try the ribs !
