Interesting building with great views across the lake . Lots of things to entertain children . Run by the National Trust.

Chrissy

Brilliant for children . Room are spacious and a lot are children themed with drawing, soft bricks to build and dressing up. But don't miss the Peter Rabbit room.

Andy Dunn

Looks mediaeval from the outside, but it's Victorian! interior walls are plaster with painted lines to make it look like it was built with brick!heated mirrors? Talk about discrete additional heating

Stephen Robinson

It looks great and you get some excellent views but if you haven't got children be aware that everything inside is aimed at them.

Tanya Mason

Beautiful castle…great for families …lovely walks around the lake . Really enjoyed our visit

Nice spot for a quick stop. But the entrance fee was pretty high so we did non go in. The view from the gardens is nice though.

Kerry

A faux gothic castle built as a retirement home in the 1800s. Find the track down to the lake for a nice view and stroll

Chrissy

Smartphone users can download geocache app and find the treasure boxes on the nature trail .

Dicle Waldmann

Looks great from the outside, but there is nothing inside! The enterence fee is 10.8£ per person for nothing.
