Went in Saturday night at 7.15 and waited 1.5 hours but it wasn't full. Whole fried fish with papaya avocado salsa $36 and delicious. Felt local and authentic . Very casual restaurant in La Placita.
The Deboned Yellowtail not only worth its $29 but also the cab here or even a flight to PR on its own. Creamy mashed potatoes with papaya salsa on a side combined with the fish is life changing.
amazing, authentic food adventure in san juan. everything is delicious but definitely don't miss the house made longaniza sausage . i'm still thinking about it. also, opt for the chickpea rice .
Local place w best food in all 3 PR trips. Menu changes and comes written on whiteboards at your table. Trust the waiter 's recommendation! Faves were the crab , fried pork apps and the whole snapper .
Menu changes often/daily. Skirt steak & snook (fish ) with mamposteao (local type of rice ) were delish! No rsvp. Line for days in the evening. Consider lunch time. No wonder bldg has no name!
They change the menu daily. The avocado salad , and the vaca frita were to die for! The empanadas I can't even start. I don't even like tostones but in here, damn!!! C'est manifique!
Amazing service including accommodating hostess . Arugula , crab appetizer , swordfish (compliments of chef ), skirt steak and 'crumbled filet' were highlights of the meal. A do not miss in San Juan!!
So good we ate here 2 nights in a row. Everything is good and the menu rotates so you get to try different things. The standouts are the bolitas (fried cheeseballs) and the whole fried fish .
Best restaurant in puerto rico hands down, very upscale food yet casual environment and great service, waiter explains menu in detail so don't be overwhelmed. The food was amazing try the swordfish .
Highly, highly recommend! The yellowtail snapper , filet, flan de café , everything was amazing.
Amazing food. Chef is a local celebrity. No reservations and long waits . Put name down then walk plazita and bar hop. Best experience get a table outside on back patio . not easy to get
I will definitively be back. Great food, had the chocolate for dessert and it was beautifully served. Dorado and mamposteao' is delicious, the Chuleta Berkshire was exquisite. Good service , ok drinks.
Great local spot with lots of locals. Upscale and delicious food. 10 min walk from the San Juan Marriott. The walk felt a little shady at night but wasn't bad at all. Could eat everything on the menu!
Where is the hidden camera ? This was just amazing. Order the crab and swordfish entries, the Branzino with papaya , avocado ,sweet potato and mamposteado rice ! Brownies too!
Do NOT leave San Juan before trying this place. Put your name down and go to the plaza around the corner for booze, music , and festivities . When they call you 1-2 hours later, the Branzino / Dorado .????
Anything and everything. Very trendy . You'll have to wait a while to be seated but it's worth the wait and there are bars around to have a drink while you wait.
One of the best meals I've ever had. The mahi mahi (dorado ) with tomato and avocado chutney an sweet potato mash was out of this world. Also, best rice and beans ever. Peach soup = just say yes.
Unbelievable swordfish . Long wait so get there early, put your name on the list and then hang out at the plaza around the corner, drinking beer and listening to music in the street with the locals.
Here for the 2nd time in 3 days. The octopus and tostones were one of the best things I've ever eaten IN LIFE. Triple tail fish also awesome. Rice & beans = the best. Ask for Lisa as your server.
A must go when in PR. Cute hidden gem , no reservations , delicious food. Get the crab appetizer , fresh fish , and tembleche for dessert .
Buzzy restaurant in the Santurce neighborhood is a simple room that feels like a convivial party full of stylish locals. dinner only, and no reservations , so come early or be prepared to wait.
The empanadillas were amazing. The chicken & mustard greens ...B-O-M-B. And the beans and rice , y'all? Hot damn. Love this place.
Warm atmosphere, the food is delicious and the waiter makes you want to eat all the items on the menu. Just go!
Outstanding. For apps, get the scallops and crab . For mains, get the yellowtail . It's enough for two.
They serve typical puertorrican food but elevated , everyday the menu changes so everything is super fresh. I recommend show up early because it's a pretty popular spot.
Fresh local fish is one of their specialties. Try the salmon chicharrones (fried salmon ) with spicy mayo sauce! If you want to try local food with an upscale quality this is the place to go!
When you are in front of place you can see inside is full of people. Everyone thinks fried fish is the best. For me it is ok but staff is the best. They are really friendly team !
Absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was out of this world (and we ordered a lot). Excellent service . If you're in San Juan, you won't want to miss this.
Amazing. Whole yellowtail was amazing, Berkshire Ribs superb, steak out of this world. It's the perfect whole in the wall place.
Everything I tried was incredible. Skirt steak was most luscious I've ever had. Get it with side of avocado
Tembleque is a Puerto Rican-style coconut pudding , and it is absolutely delicious. p.s. don't skip the Spanish wine list!

hidden gem in an unmarked house. cocktails are tasty and entrees were good, but crab appetizer and coffee flan were the standout things we ordered.
Long wait but worth it. Everything we had was excellent. Go at 8pm rather than 7.
The food here is on par with Brooklyn or Manhattan . Be prepared to wait 1-2hrs for a table, it's a part of the culture of going to this restaurant .
Everything is great in this place.Try the Róbalo (fish ), its one of the best plates I've had.
Amazing, get the triple tale and ask for a side of batata with papaya and aguacate- bomb
Great passion fruit mojitos , crab ceviche app and avocado and grapefruit dessert
Deboned swordfish : YUM! Sweet and savory amazingness. Also Chardonnay was the best I've ever had.
Just incredible. We scored 6 out of 6 amazing on all dishes, sides and dessert . Get the avocado .
menu changes frequently (even throughout the night), but the dishes they whip up are delicious culinary concoctions
So good. Get the fried snapper and mahi mahi but save room for dessert .
Creative latin food, they turn simple food into an amazing experience, fish chicharones , smoked pork chunks ,all ingredients super fresh,,,
Portions are huge (and delicious), so it’s reasonable to share one dish with two people.
Must visit in San Juan - One of the most creative menus you will see and so delicious too!
OMG best food I've ever had!!! We had the Dorado (Mahi Mahi ) and the filet empanadas .
Everything is good here!! Great service and great flavors!!
Everything here is just amazing! I love love love this kitchen.... & the bar ... And the service!
You just can't go wrong. Just get here early and get your name on the list.
Surprisingly super affordable for the quality of food. A dinner for 2 with 2 drinks, 2 apps and 2 desserts came out to $88.
